The 2 officers, one of whom is black were investigated and both officers backed up the FACTS of the story along with eye witnesses. Gates did not show his ID at first and was screaming obsentities at the cops (references to his mother) When the cops were leaving he followed them outside and continued to follow them outside screaming obsenities.
