nice sound man! personally I'm using a shure sm58 and a fender amp for recording sessions in studio. sometimes I use a "satchurator" pedal effect by joe satriani. I'm using an AKG D 202 for the amp ( 'sorry for my bad english!) go on
Hey, man. Thanks. Your English seems great to me. I know what you mean. I used an SM58 through my Fender Pro Jr for a few years, and it was a good sound for more jazz-oriented gigs. Thanks for saying hi.
I have the same one, only mine is in bad shape electronically. I picked it up for $25 knowing it was tempermental, but it finally crapped out altogether. An easy fix though if I ever get the extra cash.
Thanks for the video and thanks for the information re the mic. It sounds good and you can play!
I saw Butter at Dingwalls, London, in 1983 or 84 with a pick-up band which included 'Stones piano man Ian Stewart. It became a bit of a shambles and was a short set, maybe for that reason. But the first three songs - Mannish Boy, Meet Me In The Bottom and Born In Chicago - were astonishing. The vocals and harp were as good as it gets! This was pure blues power at its best. Thank you Mr Butterfield.
With respect, I stand by my original comment. Butter may not have been as inventive on that night as Rod Piazza, Kim Wilson, Sugar Blue, Curtis Salgado or Duster Bennett (to name but a few) but he blew the back off the harp and sang with equal intensity. Hence my comment....The gig did develop into somewhat of a shambles after those songs.
Absolutly, you're right! all my best from France (Normandie)

I saw that show too-it was a bit later,85 I think.
I had seen previously seen Butterfield in '66.
He certainly did perform the songs you recall at that gig,but 'as good as it gets..''
I don't thinks so!
It was OK though.David Bowie was there that night if anyone is interested.
