  • @droptine1965 thank you im glad someone finally realized its a draw lock not to just help shoot more pounds but to aid I'n the help of shooting a bow such as a cross bow works so people with a injury/disability can still enjoy bow hunting

  • He is using practice blades and there allot thicker than the hunting blades so it no wonder it will go through both sides with no damage. If he would of used the hunting blades then they would of been ruined.

  • rage would have broken easily

  • muzzy 4 blades and gold tip arrows are a winning combination!

  • muzzy sucks rage is the best out there rage leave a hole up to 2+2 1/2

  • What a hillbilly!!!! dangerous,dangerous,dangerous,dangerous...! Old man..

  • Too bad that nobody hunts steel drums. I have seen muzzys plug up holes on hogs all the time. My last choice would be muzzy.

  • that guy just looked at the fletching haha i would to . impressive haha

  • He failed to mention that the device he calls a "draw assist" is actually a device used to pull super heavy draw weight bows. That bow has at least 100lb limbs on it. Not a pratical application, But cool nonetheless>

  • @AZBowhntr ....the bow does not have 100lb limbs it comes with limbs that go up 2 80 and it shoots 360+ fps. they dont actually make other limbs for that bow. and it is def a practical application if you want to recieve enough kinetic energy to hunt african big game or shoot really long shots with a flatter tragectory. they just recently had a full passthrough on an african elephant. not sure the set up but something simular to this im sure.

  • @AZBowhntr no it's called "draw lock" just saying

  • This guy looks like and accident waiting to happen.....waiving the bow all over..with and without an arrow in it....

  • @Fuzzifus very true !!

  • @Fuzzifus it was perfectuly safe with the device he had on it.

  • I really don't see how this is practical. Cool nonetheless, yeah, but I don't know why everyone these day wants a pass-through shot on an animal. If the broadhead is sticking in an animal it gets a chance to move around and open up the blood vessels in the heart and lungs even more. That's why I like my Hellrazors just fine. :) Cool demo though, I'm not hating or anything.

  • it is impressive for a setup to shoot through a barrell, period. this guy was a little dangerous with his demo. i switched to muzzy 125's last year and punched through a muley at 60 yards. the arrow stuck in the tree behind him. i personally shoot pse though. overall, i was impressed with the arrow going all the way through. by the way, there are much tougher broadheads out there.

  • this whole demo was dangerous and stupid. He had his bow pointed towards the audience while speaking and shooting at a round barrel is reckless and irresponsible. Oh and you shouldn't reshoot an arrow thats struck something that hard. I could break during release and injure the shooter or a bystander

  • the guy's pretty old, they didn't look like 80lb limbs, and it wasn't even the xlr8 which is much faster then the 6.0monster. It's a new drum too, most of the barrels shot at with the attempt to go through are oxidized

  • The dude hates women. lol

  • yeah go Mathews !!! Just how many pounds did you just use... probably alot, cause you werent able to pull it...

    Very good vid anyway.

  • what a joke..... it's not really a good demonstration if you use the PRACTICE BLADES instead of the real blades to shoot through a drum. WEAK!

  • wth practice blades:)
