People here have been duped into going along with all sorts of crap by lying manipulative politicians, and the worste headgame played here is the concept that you can't fight the government. Our system is DESIGNED to PREVENT this sort of domination by our politicians, but the school system fails to teach our kids how to make propper use of that system, so the majority sits back and say "you can't fight the government".

Not necessarily. People always say this, but in practice it's not necessarily true. People who didn't work in the beginning in Russia were shipped off to work camps, haha. Otherwise though, the stigma attached to not pulling ur weight would be huge. There are a ton of ways to guard against this, including laws, etc. But no one wants to talk about it because we're all taught our whole lives that we have to keep fixing this messed up system cause the other one is eeeevil...
