The payload bay cameras could not see into the UV spectrum. They were in fact SIT Vidicon CCTV cameras, as you can verify from online documents and footage. There was a camera used during STS-75 which was UV sensitive (known as 'TOP'), and it was used during experiments while the tether was still 'tethered' to the shuttle. When heated up, it will radiate heat-waves, and you'll see it clearly on a infrared camera (after all, that's what infrared cameras are all about!). When you stop heating it up, It'll cool down and stop radiating heat-waves. The only difference between heating up an elephant in space and heating up a dust-particle in space, is the time it takes to heat up and cool down.

But if they know that it's UFO's, why would they release it in the first place? And why go with that explanation when the first one is perfectly good?
Actually, they're small particles. The camera is set very light sensitive because it's filming into the shade. This means that even extremly small particles stand out very clear. Like turning on a laser-pen in the dark and seeing all the dust particles.
They studied and modelled the behaviour of these particles years ago using software called HEMAG. Some of the documents are still available on NASA's site. After i got interested in this i set about doing my own modelling, and i can honestly confirm that the movement seen in these videos is entirely predictable for small low mass particles in low earth orbit. People assume there is no gravity and no atmosphere - both bullshit.
FYI the software was actually called HAREM (not HEMAG). Sorry - memory failed there. Google the document 'Contamination of Spacecraft by Recontact of Dumped Liquids' for example. Most people would be shocked to find how things behave in orbit, because they have no clue about orbital mechanics and believe objects should travel in straight lines in space regardless of 'where' in space. In LEO, gravity is close to that on earth's surface, and the atmosphere is not a vacuum.

Earth is easy because we can all relate to it, though some people can't seem to grasp the concept of relative velocity even on Earth. For example they forget that the apparent trajectory of a ball thrown into the air varies according to the position of the observer. It can look like it moves up, stops, then moves down from the POV of the thrower, but it's still travelling in an arc.

would any one like to see these things? just look very hard at all things in you space and if any thing moves just fallow it and see for your self it might be faint to see? i have see many things of late but don't let it bother me. go out side in the day time and see the sky with out planes,birds. it very faint to see like a faint shadow in he sky.if you are lucky you might see a flying person like i have.and other animals the should not be alive? just believe in what you see.

Umm, sorry, but "shooting stars" don't glow until they penetrate earth atmosphere. These objects are quite obviously a few hundred miles up in the vacuum of space. Also some "shooting stars" are going in the wrong direction, UP and AWAY from the planet below. Sorry, guess again.

Be honest.. how should we know which of the above we are seeing. If we see something change direction can you say for sure that it is a ship.
But can you really say for sure?.. bcos even then you still need to confirm that the video hasn't been doctored.
I *want* to believe there are UFO's in the vid, but that don't necessarily make it so.. moreover it will bias my judgement.

If that is space junk, then how come in all the other NASA video's dont have that much so called 'space junk', in them? Fact is is that its not space junk. These objects are space ships that have come to see something. I've noticed that they do that when NASA is performing a major action like they did when the tether broke. The space is really huge, I have never imagined an really intelligent civilization. I always used to imagine some living beings that look such as ourselves but using different language on a different planet of course, imagining how their fruits and vegetables look like etc.

Meteors can burn with tails before they hit the visible atmosphere. There's also the magnetosphere to think about. The payload bay cameras could not see into the UV spectrum. They were in fact SIT Vidicon CCTV cameras, as you can verify from online documents and footage. There was a camera used during STS-75 which was UV sensitive (known as 'TOP'), and it was used during experiments while the tether was still 'tethered' to the shuttle. The later and most famous footage (filmed several days after fly-away) was filmed using the payload bay cameras. See my videos for real TOP camera footage.

When heated up, it will radiate heat-waves, and you'll see it clearly on a infrared camera (after all, that's what infrared cameras are all about!). When you stop heating it up, It'll cool down and stop radiating heat-waves. The only difference between heating up an elephant in space and heating up a dust-particle in space, is the time it takes to heat up and cool down.

A shadow is an area that is shielded from electromagnetic radiation. Have you never had to shield your face from the heat of a fire with your hand? When you do that, you're simply creating a shadow in the heat-waves. When the particle enters the shadow, It'll cool down and disappear. It leaves, It'll heat up and appear.

No, the footage is plain old SIT Vidicon payload bay CCTV camera footage (not IR or UV). This myth was started by David Sereda to help sell his crockumentary videos. I have genuine TOP UV camera footage and it looks nothing like this. There are many obvious proofs for what i say, but i'll throw you a few bones: how come a hand-held camera (TOP) moves exactly like a camera mounted on a servio driven pan/tilt unit? Wheres the text overlay with *TOP* in the corner?

Actually, they're small particles. The camera is set very light sensitive because it's filming into the shade. This means that even extremly small particles stand out very clear. Like turning on a laser-pen in the dark and seeing all the dust particles.

They studied and modelled the behaviour of these particles years ago using software called HEMAG. Some of the documents are still available on NASA's site. After i got interested in this i set about doing my own modelling, and i can honestly confirm that the movement seen in these videos is entirely predictable for small low mass particles in low earth orbit. People assume there is no gravity and no atmosphere - both bullshit.

FYI the software was actually called HAREM (not HEMAG). Sorry - memory failed there. Google the document 'Contamination of Spacecraft by Recontact of Dumped Liquids' for example. Most people would be shocked to find how things behave in orbit, because they have no clue about orbital mechanics and believe objects should travel in straight lines in space regardless of 'where' in space. In LEO, gravity is close to that on earth's surface, and the atmosphere is not a vacuum.

You're welcome. That's an interesting point and now you mention it, i noticed the same thing too. Earth is easy because we can all relate to it, though some people can't seem to grasp the concept of relative velocity even on Earth. For example they forget that the apparent trajectory of a ball thrown into the air varies according to the position of the observer. It can look like it moves up, stops, then moves down from the POV of the thrower, but it's still travelling in an arc.

gekados: These are not "space debris". It's dust and ice-particles from the shuttle. You know: The shuttle uses it's small thrusters to maintain stability and also vents waste-water to space.
As for real "space-debris": Several tons of micrometeorites hit the upper atmosphere every day, and that's no "nightmare", but a fact!

One thing gets me. 0:49 to about 0:53 you see an object come in from upper right moving to center left. The camera pulls back almost as if it doesnt want to see the object. Tell me she doesn't completely take a pause when she sees that same object almost jump forward and rocket left , at about 1:12 on when shes says "far left hand side of the screen....about....about an inch"

Check out crop circles etc. I've done a research on this for a long time now. They exist, and NASA is trying to hide it. This creatures are 100 times smarter then us, and I believe they're friendly.

the astronauts themselves don't want to hide anything. it's the government. i think everbody agrees with me when i say that we are ready to know and i don't think it will frighten us. the extra terrestrials are way more friendly than humans. they haven't bombed us.

Even the highest up officials in NASA may not be 'in the loop', not all astronauts probably are aware of ET activity, but i would be surprised if any astronaut was unaware of the 'strange and phenomenal' things that are 'kept quiet' 'if you know what I mean'

Thats what I was thinking exactly, forget the alien stuff, let's say all this activity is justified. How dangerous are these missions? I had always though a micro-meteor was enough to ruin a day and here we see large objects careening by.
Secondly, If they are in space what is causing the light trail on the faster objects? Are they in low enough orbit to be skipping off the atmosphere?
Dangit, now I have more homework to do on this....

What arew all those "things" flying and flashing by and why doesn't someone comment about them? I do notice that when some of them fly in view of the camera, someone moves the camera as not to notice them. Who are the people speaking and is this a real NASA transmission? Go on the NASA website and there isnothiong but denile regarding UFO's etc. As far as they are concerned it's a hoax.

On flight day two, crew deployed Orbital Debris Radar Calibration System-II (ODERACS-II) to help characterize orbital debris environment for objects smaller than 10 centimeters (about four inches) in diameter. Complement of six target objects of known dimensions and with limited orbital lifespans released into orbit and tracked by ground- based radars, allowing precise calibration of radars so they can more accurately track smaller pieces of space debris in low Earth orbit.
