  • It's one of the older models, but the design is not exactly "vintage".

  • @MIKON8ERISBACK lol nah, not vintage, not yet. Still a great screen, excellent picture.

  • @MIKON8ERISBACK I took my vintage screen to the anime tournament, a 20" 1986 Quasar and it performed admirably with the 7800 attached.

  • Woo, Megamix!!

  • Now that is a awesome old school TV. I would not mind playing older consoles on that baby.

  • @FrosChannel It makes the game better, definitely.

  • AWE-FUCKING-SOME.

I actually don't own a TV or a monitor for my PC, I have a projector. I use my wall. It's huge <3

  • @NeepohnToonyDStudios I hear ya, projector is definitely better. Hopefully I will be getting mine back soon (it's a ViewSonic nice one). TV sets are great, Trinitron is cool, but projectors are better :)

  • @NeepohnToonyDStudios and I got the projector back!! Now I don't have a place to set it all up. DOH!

  • man do I love my sony tvs they have amazing color I own a 20 inch trinitron

  • @MGSF4N4TIC14 Yep, these TV sets are fantastic. Trinitron FTW!

  • Whoa, those sets are HEAVY... hope that table doesn't fold on you man!

  • @TortureBot Y'know, I thought it would break, too, but it held for several months, now everything is stored. Definitely a great TV and a better table!

  • Well, I downloaded the ROM from Sonic Retro (I think), and I opened it up so I could burn the ISO to a disk. The only file with ISO looks like another archive file, so I opened that up, and all that was there was a silly "read me" document.

I read about the drama between the programmers. Did they take down the actual ROM, or am I retarded in the ways of extracting files? I am using WinRar by the way.

  • Right. After you burn it the computer will NOT be able to read the files, just burn one copy from the .ISO directly, then take it to the SegaCD and boot it up.

Same thing happened to me, I read the FAQ and got it from there. It will play, even if the pc doesn't see it.

  • Thank you so much, it works like a charm on the 'ol CDX!

  • ooh, CDX and the X'eye are on my most wanted list. Report if they are seen in the wild, reward offered! :) Glad it worked for you.

  • I can make some calls. A place near my home has almost everything I can think of. They even had a Sega Megajet for sale, which I had never seen before. I had bought alot of my stuff there, mabey Joe will have a CDX laying around.

  • PM sent!!

  • How did you get that retro Sonic to work on there? And it seemed like you Sega CD powered on with the TV, like it had a remote feature added.

  • The game and TV coming on at the same time was just good timing. What do you mean how did I get it to work? Not really clear..?

  • Street Fighter 2: Tournament Edition for the tourn!

  • I have a CDX and it is awesome and yet I STILL want a setup like yours, why is that LOL!

  • It's the blue LED, it has to be.

  • There's 2 gamecubes mating in the background. Raunchy. Lol.

  • BIG CRT FTW!

  • it is sweet, nice big picture.

  • The next thing I need to do is make the Genesis output S-video. It will become even better!

  • Good vid! I've got a Sony 21" CRT hooked up through RGB scart with my Jap MK1 MD. Great picture and sound. The older CRT TV's are best for retro gaming! :-)
