Yes, it was an irreplacable part of a must-see NBC Saturday that, at one time, included MAMA'S FAMILY, FACTS OF LIFE, 227, GOLDEN GIRLS, AMEN!, ALMOST LIVE!, and SNL (when it was good). "Wet Your Pants With Laughter" Saturdays!!! Sigh... The good ol' days!

That IS true, isn't it? It always seems like we truly DON'T know how good we have it till it's gone. There were those bemoaning the switch from Ross Shaffer to John Keister, but I for one LOVED the Almost Live! of the early 90's as well... especially as I'm a Puget Sound local.

It was canceled in 1999 but they did a reunion show in 2006. Still reruns every weekend.
