First of all this is freehand technique. Gravityblast is when you do a blastbeat with freehand on the snare.

AND hyperblasting is high-speed blasting, like Flo Mounier and Dennis Röndum do.

My drummer is straight up beaner, and a chick, and shes fxing awesome.

gravity blasts are silent if you your snare tuned lower. However if you tighten your snare head a fair amount and apply a gravity the sound will leap out. This also helps for the speed of blast beats as the drumsticks catch more rebound, and it is eaiser to dribble them with your fingers.
