  • forget the shark bra. Poke that ulua!!!! nice video though

  • fish makes me hungry for tuna sandwich

  • aww look at the little fishies swim!

  • How's the Ulua. I would poke that.

  • ALOOOOOHA!!!!!

  • very good footage 5stars!!

  • Very pretty whitetip shark. I just came back from Molokini a week ago and saw a 4 foot blacktip gliding across the lower bowl of the crater. Awesome place to dive!

  • Molokini crater is great, small sharks are abundant there. But to see probably 5ft shark (not sure what kind it was) snorkeling Big Rock near Sheraton Maui at 6 pm was kind of a chilling experience. Not many swimmers there at sunset but plenty of turtles thats maybe why sharks come by. I met this one almost nose to nose. Firs reaction was to paddle away but she showed no interest whatsoever just swam by me like I was not there.

  • @chupik1965 It's Black Rock, ..not 'Big Rock'

  • Very nice footage. Judging from the little butterfly fish next to it, I doubt it was even near 4 feet. Looks under 3 ft, not that the size is important. Very nice footage. :-)

  • im goin there in august. been to the big island and honolulu but not maui. gonna hit black rock and molokini. it would be pretty cool to see a shark.

  • I'd be scared swimmin right up to a shark, no matter what kind it is.

  • That was a beautifull underwater footage. Makes you feel the presence of the other fish.

but that fish near the shark was very big though.

  • Yes, Excelent footage!

I myself havnt been Diving anywere near Molokini but it looks spectacular..

I live down here in Kihei so the waters nearby arnt ideal for diving.. Plus, I am not much of a swimmer, But I would love to try this summer. :D

  • is the shark really small? or are you just really far away?

  • Only 3-4 ft max. Small Whitetip. But enough to give many tourists a coronary. Most people aren't used to seeing a shark in the same water in which they are swimming. Quite a treat no matter how many times you've seen it.

  • ahh it sure would give me a coronary if i was that close, no matter the size!!! hahaha

brilliant footage by the way i love underwater films!!
