If you look at ANYBODY's run of "Maps" on Expert Guitar, you'll see that Harmonix decided not to chart the guitar trill at the beginning of the song. It is a guitar part, but I guess they took it out to lower the difficulty of the song overall.

There's a difference between a "trill" and "same note repeated over and over again", trill is alternating between two notes as fast as possible, usually notes that are a sharp/flat higher/lower than the other. "Same note repeated over and over again" in this case, hitting the same pitch as fast as possible.
