Do not visit Norway with your small children.....a dreadful country hides behind all the scenic beauty......the government find pretexts to "legally" take the children away and put them in Barnevernet.....No protests from 'public'....the rules of the country are perverted.......The government does not respect cultures of other countries......Cannot be called a civilized country......Visit this country if you are single or without children or if you hate your children.

Driving through areas like these, only seeing things from a vehicle, hardly shows anything properly. Oslo has hundreds of beautiful buildings, even older apartment buildings with great details. Maybe I should make a video of those ;)

Amazing video, I enjoyed it a lot. In fact, I've already visited such cities as Trondheim and Ålesund, but I've never had the opportunity of discovering the wonderful city of Oslo. Nevertheless, I cannot shake the feeling that I must visit it someday, especially when I watch this kind of videos ... @philster611 Nevermind Philster. I'm sure the Oslo people are lovely, and make up for the horrid buildings. I hear they are a lively lot! Full of smiles, warmth and humour, and eager to chat, help and embrace the tourists with a warm hug....
Ok video, but kinda terrible also, you drive through most of the less used areas of the city, it's winter (hence less street life) and yeah -- this makes the city seem more dead, boring and grey than it really is. It's possible to make a much cooler vid from the city...

You say that it's one of the most boring and depressing capital cities, strange then that I've been around Europe, partied and everything, and some of the most fun I've ever had, I've had in Oslo. Oslo might not be so BIG though, but when you know where to go / or look, you can have quite a lot of fun. Recommend you to look at the Dexpedition episode from Oslo/Norway my friend.
