@DoesNotDislike Punk elitism is a response to persecution. I was a punk in high school, and we were ostracized, beat up, and mistreated; as pop culture began leaning toward the pop-punk of the mid-90s, those same jocks who were beating us down in 92 were wearing blink187 shirts. So there emerged a distinct resentment for new converts. This is my experience; punk has gone through many reiterations before my time and since, which again is sporadically embraced by popular culture make it acceptable
Personally the whole album rocked. Seen both bands live more times than I can count. NoFX still did a better job on Rancid's songs than Rancid did on the NoFX songs. Fat Mike, El Hefe and Melvin just give a huge range of sounds; more than you'll get from Tim and the rest of Rancid. Don't get me wrong though, both bands are and always will be epic.
@junkattackjunk what are you talking about!!! dude im a punker at heart and i love rancid, always have, but noxf is the more talented and creative band. and how could you say that, this song is so chill to smoke to!!
@bonham0924 well what i said was only my opinon, and im pretty sure someone would eventually reply to my msg by saying "opinons are like buttholes, everyone's got one", so im gonna say it first, :D
@bonham0924 "I'm a punker at heart". Haha. I hear what you're saying, but did you have to make it sound so...ridiculous? Not trying to be a dick...but it's funny to me when people say "Im a punk rocker!@ F*** the goverment man...check out my green hair. Got tons of studs on my leather man! Let's skank!" You were right about one thing though, great song to smoke to.
i love both bands but i think i like nofx better

punk kids are so elitist. it's hypocritical. they're being what they despise. why?

@DoesNotDislike Same reason most "homophoabs" are gay, when confrounted with one own insuicietys people go in to attack mode.

I like how on this album, Rancid tried to 1-up NoFX by adding so much more into their songs, but NoFX just took the piss!

@metaller8 you're a dumbass. Both bands are excellent and cover eachothers songs.

They butchered this song, but I think that was intentional. Funny as hell
