ahh, I cried so much at this scene. It's these moments of self-sacrificing altruism that I love about J-drama series, and the kind of culture that encourages to have these feelings of kindness though it may be unrealistic. Kind of rare to find that in american series, though US dialogue writing is more witty and less cliche, characters are sometimes most blunt and selfish, being this defensive over a family member is rare.

You gotta hate who those kids who they protrayed.... no sympathy at all... This scene is one of my favourite scenes, not only we see Ako turning over a new leaf but we also see Ako's actress really acting in her biggest scene. Hiroki's actor......*shrugs* his crying is hilarious though!!!! ^_^

"the way home" & "harmony" they're both korean movies but tear-jerkers. (i tend to think harmony more than the way home)
