Napoleon fish

I had that experience more than 10 years ago at Perhentian Island Malaysia. A herd of 5 to 6 Napoleon fishes swam next to me while I was snorkelling. It was like being surrounded by Giants. Scary but fascinating.

I don't know, didn´t ask him his name, lol. Yes this was filmed at Fish Head. I see different scars on it's face so in must be a different Napoleon, or maybe suffered some wounds after this video was filmed.

Napoleon fish own!!!! Btw where abouts in the Maldives did you go, i've just returned from diving in the Rasdhoo atoll and saw several of these guys.

For me this fish just for some reason makes me want to put my arm around it and give it a nice refreshing beer.

I was snorkelling in Malaysia about 10 years ago and all of a sudden about 5 of these wonderful fish swam up to check me out. I just about shit! I didn't know what kind of fish they were until after. It was one of my underwater highlights of all time.
