To be able to move like this at the age of 83 is only possible by a true tai chi master. What you see here is very special.

not sure how old he is, but i wish i could move like that at his age.

There isn't any improvisation in the form sequence here, he is doing the standard sword form common to all the Wu style taijiquan 吳氏太極拳 schools.
The clip starts with Ma already finishing form 39 順水推舟 and goes on to the end. We only get to see the last 2/3rds of the sword form.

Probably one of the greatest taichi master of the last century. I think he can freestyle as much as he wants. Who are you to judge the way he is doing his form.
