  • there is 2 dislikes .. 2 crazy motha fuckaz that don't know shit about the rap game ...

  • X is one of the only people that sings about what he really feels and alot of his music is about his struggle with bi-polar dissorder. He makes everyday easy for people like me who have a real hard time dealing with my bi-polar problems he just let all us know we can make it and for that I say thank you and keep preaching.......... nothing but respect

  • x is better than pac at this fo sure

  • AFTER LISTENING TO THIS TRACK FOR THE MILLIONTH TIME. I HAVE TO SAY THIS IS THE MOST MOVING SONG PERIOD OUT OF ANY GENRE SINCE MARVIN GAYE ASKED WHAT'S GOING ON

  • niggas dont understand that this album was the last of the illest albums of the 90's. after this hit the streets hip hop passed away. hip hop been dead after the year 2000 nas was just the first to admit it. the 90's was the time when niggas interacted with GOD. 2000 is the time when niggas interact with satan.

  • @jondollars well put jonstacks

  • 2012 STILL LISTEN !!! :D

  • 2011 still banging dis shit

  • this song is beyond rap

  • DMX 4 EVER

  • @tegaffer 2 dislikes now cause you wrote it :/

  • @Piterszczyk my point was the lenth of time it took to get dislikes it had to be documented now it has still the best album ever made

  • @tegaffer I know man, not trying to blame you- my point was that unfortunately theres trolls all around youtube and as soon as they saw your comment they disliked. The album is so good that without those 2 idiots there wouldn't be any dislikes at all.

  • @tegaffer saying stupid shit like that makes people dislike it

  • rip real rap

  • DMX takes us from are own world and puts us in his DMX is 1 of the all time greats i listind to his music since i was a kid he holds the flame of rap i belive no one can take that from himnot many of rappeers like him truely 1 of a kind

  • real talk real rap

  • i need to explain something rap started out as a tribe of people named "geirots" and they sung about hardships in a rhythmic pattern that offend rhymed.... that morphed into this "rap" about the hardships AKA "the streets" and its the best thing on this earth :) but people now sing about money and girls .... thats not rap by the definition of the "geirots"

  • this song write here is rediculously perfect

  • @MrEjballa You words are wise they echo farther than you know.... thank you

  • you tell there was love here,,,,,,,,,,,,

  • dmx really brought us into his world with this album . nothing but Raw emotion.

  • "i try doin good but goods not to good for me" so ill

  • @MARGARITTA60 your a fag get your france ass off american music

  • Yall both made valid points. overall Pac is the best artist, but he wasn't the greatest lyricis.. Im a BIG Tupac fan & i can admit that. Tupac was a poet & the realist rapper. For example Watch Thug angel & shock g break it down on how Biggie was a lyricist & good with words but Tupac was the best because he had more to say & made realer music & rap from his soul.

  • I hope X brings back this deeper side of him on his next album. And I hope he gets better beats like this one here and all his other classic stuff.

  • Hes speaking of his convo with God, dmx can be the man yet proud of his religion!

  • One of the greatest (real) hip hop albums !!

  • People will always say that he isnt a great lyricist and same thing for Pac but they are the only two rappers that were able to spit some simple rhymes and really get to people, funny cause they hard but still touch your emotions

  • @cashville409 soul

  • @cashville409 tupac is one of the greatest lyricist ever.

  • @TheRealness180 Naaah bruh... Pac wasnt much of a "lyricist" when compared to other rappers like Big L. But Pac had a message (a general one) and alotta passion and you could hear/feel it in his music. He was able to connect with the niggaz and tap into their emotions and that's what made him such a great rapper. Cassidy, Lloyd Banks, Fabolous, Em.. those are lyricists. But i still put Pac & X above em all.. *shrug* just my two cents.

  • @ChompingDiMystik having a whole bunch of punchlines & multi syllables in ur rhymes doesnt always make u the best lyricist.Trust me im from ny,i know all bout fab, banks, jadakiss, cassidy, etc. There great lyricist But none of them could draw a vivd picture & tell a story with there lyrics like pac.None of those punchline rappers lyrics could inspire u the way pac lyrics could & have the versatility & song writing ability pac had.Pac made 4 classic how many does fab, kiss,,canibus have?

  • @TheRealness180 I agree with everything u saying bout Pac's music bro but when i think of "lyricism" i think of complex manipulation of words. Why u being so defensive asking me how many classics niggaz got? That's irrelevant.. Pac is a better overall artist than all dem niggaz in my eyes like i said before but as far as actual lyricism goes and being able to play with words, i dont think it was his strongest attribute. I think we got 2 different views of what lyricism is. But to each, his own.

  • @TheRealness180 Exactly

  • @TheRealness180 I must agree

  • @TheRealness180 kiss more than a few, fabo about the same a jada, canibus not so much for me i just didnt like his voice and what he rapped about au know i like what x does its alwasy good to me

but we can play some fabo and jada good call

  • @ChompingDiMystik Go listen to blasphemy,my against the world, outlaw,i aint mad atcha,me & my gf,white mans world, brenda got a baby and if u still think pac aint one of the greatest lyricist then u dont know about poetry and lyricism.

  • i think dis convo da otha day

  • real sht..

  • Very very underrated song. Dude spilled his soul on this track, much respect.

  • every time i listen to this song it gives me the chills cause he speaking real shit. fuck with people thing of x yeah the nigga has a drug problem but were all human. long as his music is from the heart and real i can appreciate it. IM NOT HERE TO JUDGE HIS PERSONAL LIFE

  • One of many songs that is underrated

  • Goods not to good for me

  • no dislikes im suprised but happy cause this shit gets to me <3

  • Two sets of footprints, I was right beside there. What about those times I saw one. Perhaps best X joint ever.

  • no more running sliding in the dirt cause im safe

  • it was you God it was you!!

  • I get goosebumps everytime I play this track. I think he thought he was REALLY talking to the creator....

  • @gadams907 me too!! MAD goosebumps!!!

  • Classic!!!

  • X Rules! Would'nt say the greatest of all times, but arguably amongst the greatest of all times!

  • very good=)

  • Awesome, a flow doper then white coke main!

  • 5 stars thx 4 postin

  • i miss when rappers used to rap

  • @krookedearz oddly enough he changed his style after the 1st 2 albums because critics saw it as too "sing songy", beh, X is X, still da hardest and rawest.

  • @krookedearz i need to explain something rap started out as a tribe of people named "geirots" and they sung about hardships in a rhythmic pattern that offend rhymed.... that morphed into this "rap" about the hardships AKA "the streets" and its the best thing on this earth :) but people now sing about money and girls .... thats not rap by the definition of the "geirots" ... so by definition your right they dont "rap"

  • hi gabby GBU!!!!!!!
