  • Hey bud-I used to be a film buyer for UCI-We looked after the Empire Leicester Sq and when any 70mm in Dolby Six track magnetic stereo film was on screen there from 1989-1993 this was always tagged on to the films. I consider this to be the best THX logo EVER. Why its never been reissued by Lucasfilm for new digital cinemas with THX is beyond my comprehension.

    Of course it would be neat if THx would care to reedit this version on a demu blu ray or dvd!

    Last time I saw it, it was at the Max Linder, Paris, France, in 70mm!
