So even if he did defuse the bomb no1 but the ppl involved would noe of it meaning only the higher ranking members of the police force and the FBI who were involved. bomb squad etc.

@ghoohg551 Sometimes there'll be a failsafe where if the wrong wire is pulled, the bomb is rigged to go off, so they have to get the right one. Castle just figured that with 3 seconds left until he was dead, he had nothing to lose by trying. Good thing he did!

I loved the build up of this scene. This is a classic scene of suspense, and it was done perfectly. Fallon's 'I'm sorry', the music, and Castle holding Beckett's hand for comfort and courage truly made this one for the books.

@Fervus16 I was on the edge of my seat as the bomb was counting down. My whole body was shaking, i didnt know what was going to happen. The greatest moment to me was when Castle took Beckett's hand, Castle yanking all of those wires, and Castle and Kate's reaction after they realize that they were still alive. The hug between them was so sweet

Beckett wants Castle and Castle wants Beckett. If people dont think so look at the facial expressions from both of them. Both of them realize that this is it and that there is nothing left for them to really do. It is just Rick and Kate in the moment and they realize that this could be their last moments on earth. Why not go with the person you most want to be with. God its so frustrating they escaped death like 3 times and still did not tell each I love you.
