Very nice game with pretty impressive real time battle scale. Unparalleled level of battlefield confusion thanks to stubborn (or incompetent or adrenaline addicted etc.) commanders and lost couriers. I wish more games would incorporate AI like this to allow for this army scale.
@Jonnybooster In a way you are correct. The graphic requirements are the same. Different artist for the units, but the specs are the same. The maps are much improved. The biggest differences are multiplayer and what's under the hood.

@Fleax1973 So far it's holding it's own online. We have a lobby where you can go to meet players. Many players also use ventrillo to talk during the battle. We are a small community, but we're growing!

it sux i can't run this game, i get to the title screen but my cursor never moves, it takes me a year to get on to singleplayer then when i try and run it, it loads so slow then i end up quitting

Looking forward to trying out the demo as I am a long-time wargamer. In the video there sure are a lot of rebel flags, kind of overwelming to see so many together, distracts from the other images like terrain and troops themselves.
the game looms awsome! My only gripe would be that the battle field looks a bit empty. Would it be possible to mod the size of the unit? For the people with monster machines, would it be possible to put in 200-300 men per unit/regiment or more?

There is a lighting and shadow system in there, but nothing you can mod and nothing that we have worked on. That is one of the areas where I admit we are behind. We just have not found a way we like to do shadows for so many units without a big hit on performance.
NorbSot, as a happy TC2M owner, I'm really looking forward to this! Sid Meier's Gettysburg is still one of my favorite games after all these years. I'm sure you'll exceed it.

I agree...head to Harrisburg, cause some more havoc and find some good ground somewhere else as I am sure Meade would have had orders from Washington prompting him to attack immediately once he could find Lee.
i looked in the forum on your site...i speak for solution in case of flagbearer? isn't simply possible to make flag sprite as not only flag but with flagbearer? one sprite -> flag and flagbearer
There are a lot of solutions, but none that we want to address right now. We do not consider it an issue with the current unit design. Once we switch to models we'll probably make it work more as people would expect.
It's easier to create new flags if they're not part of the flagbearer sprite, so the best thing is not to change it until it's worth the effort to make it look better without making it harder to mod.
It would be cool if this game could have the graphics of a total war game

@Fleax1973 we've had good games with 16+ people whenever all players had decent computer specs. You can command army, corps, div, brigade level.
