  • you have to watch out doing static stretches like this before heavy lifts as inevitably it can make you joints weaker if you over do it. Dynamic stretches are the way to go before heavy lifts, just to get the blood flowing to the right muscle groups.

  • Lol he really does look lik him

  • he looks like ben affleck haha

  • best adivice ive had in ages. my left arm is relaxed now..im just wondering, is it possible to overstretch and lose the blood sirculation?

  • @norwegianstud only stretch to what is comfortable, dont put yourself in pain. but im sure the more flexible the better the blood circulation is

  • @Shaantiify Thx for the reply, btw I have quitted to stretch my arm now and the pain is getting back =D

So thx again for reminding me of the medicine =)

  • Thank You

  • Thanks man!

  • Thanks for that. I had been doing the shoulder and arm stretches but the other day I tried some new lifts and my pecs are really sore today. In future I'll do these chest stretches after my workout.

  • good job bro.. you just need to be more confident and practice a little more!

  • is it better to stretsch before or after the workout?

  • dynamic stretching before only. Most prefer to stretch a few hours after working out.

  • @diavolettobz

They say that it's better to stretch after a workout than before. That's because stretching the muscle before the muscle it's warm can make it easily rip. I just do a light warmup on the muscle group (for chest i do pushups) before going into the workout and then stretch afterwards

  • @00000Milkshake I agree. Before workout do 5-15 min cardio warm-up or light sweat. Then on your first set use extremely light weights on the exercise your doing, then progress to heavy lifting. I do my stretches after my working cool-down on the bike because it weakens your muscles by 20-25% when you stretch (thats why you get flexible).

  • Just what I was looking for.

    Cheers.
