  • where did you get the song?

  • Well...I downloaded it :/

    Limewire, I think

  • well thats ok

    i found it...ALONG time ago

  • No it wasn't, this piece of music was composed by Clint Mansell. Mozart was involved in a composing a communion chant for a requiem mass which was also called "Lux Aeterna" but that piece of music was not this one. They just happen to have the same name. I mean, lux aeterna is the Latin for eternal light which is not an uncommon phrase, it's just a coincidence that the two pieces have the same name. The "Lux Aeterna" in this video is fully accredited to Clint Mansell.

  • Sorry, you are indeed correct. It's Clint Mansell's. I thought he just reworked it for Requiem For A Dream and Mozart originally wrote it, but Mansell's the writer and composer. There are a lot (and I don't use the term lightly) of songs by the same name...so you can see how easy it is to get confused :)

  • Is this really Mozart's music??? I thought that it was made by Clint Mansell for a movie Requiem for a Dream. Aint i right?

  • Yeah, you're right, this version was made by Mansell (with the Kronos Quartet) for Reqiuem For A Dream.

But, it was origina written by Mozart all those years ago.

  • Did someone drug the birds? They sure are fast where you are from. Maybe there are a lot of cats? Giant cats with frog tongues?

  • Exactly.

  • cool

  • Thanks :)
