I totally missed out on sending in a photo! My husband is an Indiana National Guardsman and was stationed in Kuwait until Oct. We're still trying to get our lives back on the road. I want to let you know that I created Project Get A Military Service Member/Spouse Leid! as a way for family & friends to send warm fuzzies and thank yous. My father spent 22 years in the Navy and is now deceased a project like this would have brought tears to his eyes. I think this is awesome and I plan on helping with the cause.
Yes it is and it doesn't cost a cent! How many people do you see with tons of photos on their Facebook or whatever, this takes ten seconds to do and our men and women really appreciate it.

A wonderful video....my husband and I are both vietnam vets. I was looking up 'project gratitude' which was about sending soldier's widows and children to the Miss America pageant and found you. Thanks for this presentation. Whoever thought that sending these grieving family members to Las Vegas needs to have their head examined. We need to make sure these children are able to get as much education as they desire, because their fathers bought it with their lives.

Every Citizen of the United States should be graceful for not having to fight these wars in our own land, because our Warriors are fight the enemies on their own turf. I send to each and every one of the a great Thanks to them and their families, who are making the ultimate sacrifice for America.

Ils n'ont qu'environ 30 ans...Officiellement, on dit en Roumanie qu'ils sont là pour la sécurité internationnale, pour que la démocratie et la civilisation vainquent.
Mais nos militaires à nous sont là parce qu'on leur paie beaucoup d'argent, pas par le sens du devoir. Ils ont des familles, des enfants et ils veulent la plupart s'acheter des maisons. D'ailleurs, il y a de plus en plus moins de volontaires.
J'ai vu dans la vidéo le drapeau de mon pays aussi. Il y a également des Roumains là-bas, depuis presque sept ans. Il y a environ mille officiers et soldats, soit en Iraq ou Afghanistan. On enverra encore 600 000 en Afghanistan à la demande du président Barak Obama.
This video is GREAT, but ya know, there isn't any verbal words or physical actions to tell our soldiers - our real heroes- just how much the United States citizens greatly appreciate what our USA soldiers are doin' for their country. I know that our country is very happy knowing that we have men and women who willing to sacrifice their life for believing in what is right.
Our soldiers, sailors, marines and airmen are the real heros of our times. As a nation we give so much attention and Glory to the hollywood elite, sports stars, politicians, TV talking heads, and others, but the real Heros of our time, the men and women we owe more than we will ever know, are our military. The Revolution was my family's first time to serve this nation during war. It has always been something that was just done and not talked about much (except to mourn those that died) . So it is with gratitude beyond measure that I say thank you. I know the sacrifice and the heart ache, but I also know the pride and sense of accomplishment that goes with your service. Well. Once again you guys brought a tear to my eye. Thanks to the soldiers that have picked up the banner of freedom and carrying it forward from where we left it after we retired from military service.
I love this cause. My boyfriend is currently deployed in Afghanistan for a year long tour. I couldn't thank him and every other service member enough for what they're doing. I'm proud to be an Army girlfriend.

Oh there are plenty of those however they say "Thank You" For the support not "You're Welcome" Everytime I have thanked a soldier in person they always say "I'm just doing what I love" but knowing people are thinking about them back home means a lot trust me.
I personally find it sickening that you need a (your welcome) when these men & women are out there dying for your freedom to be so unappreciative & needy..
kilroyski - Instead of "you're welcome", let me say THANK YOU to you for reminding me that our military is out there every day fighting even for people like you - ungrateful souls. A "thank you" is the least any of us can do - it certainly pales in comparison to what they do for us. I'm sorry you are such an obviously miserable person. I hope your day goes well.

disneyvisite07@Je me rejouis en revanche que les Roumains ont pleinement participé au télédon organisé par UNICEF et une télévision roumaine pour aider les enfants innocents de Haïti et ça va continuer pendant un mois. L'empathie et les sentiments humains, c'est ce qui compte pour moi. Pas les intérêts égoïstes et mesquins.

Mais nos militaires à nous sont là parce qu'on leur paie beaucoup d'argent, pas par le sens du devoir. Ils ont des familles, des enfants et ils veulent la plupart s'acheter des maisons. D'ailleurs, il y a de plus en plus moins de volontaires.

J'ai vu dans la vidéo le drapeau de mon pays aussi. Il y a également des Roumains là-bas, depuis presque sept ans. Il y a environ mille officiers et soldats, soit en Iraq ou Afghanistan. On enverra encore 600 000 en Afghanistan à la demande du président Barak Obama.

This video is GREAT, but ya know, there isn't any verbal words or physical actions to tell our soldiers - our real heroes- just how much the United States citizens greatly appreciate what our USA soldiers are doin' for their country. I know that our country is very happy knowing that we have men and women who willing to sacrifice their life for believing in what is right.

Our soldiers, sailors, marines and airmen are the real heros of our times. As a nation we give so much attention and Glory to the hollywood elite, sports stars, politicians, TV talking heads, and others, but the real Heros of our time, the men and women we owe more than we will ever know, are our military. The Revolution was my family's first time to serve this nation during war. It has always been something that was just done and not talked about much (except to mourn those that died) . So it is with gratitude beyond measure that I say thank you. I know the sacrifice and the heart ache, but I also know the pride and sense of accomplishment that goes with your service. GOD bless you and keep you until you return home again.

well done! I saw a soldier on tv today who had her leg blown off from a roadside bomb, and she had no bitterness or anger about it and said she would do it again! That's what makes you all so special...THANK YOU to ALL men and women who risk life and limb to keep us safe.

Everything we have personally and as a nation was made possible because a veteran fought and sacrificed. From the Revolutionary War to the war in Iraq, a veteran somewhere at sometime made it all possible. I love this cause. My boyfriend is currently deployed in Afghanistan for a year long tour. I couldn't thank him and every other service member enough for what they're doing. I'm proud to be an Army girlfriend.

Oh there are plenty of those however they say "Thank You" For the support not "You're Welcome" Everytime I have thanked a soldier in person they always say "I'm just doing what I love" but knowing people are thinking about them back home means a lot trust me.

kilroyski - Instead of "you're welcome", let me say THANK YOU to you for reminding me that our military is out there every day fighting even for people like you - ungrateful souls.
