powerslides are one of those tricks you just kinda learn with out really practicing them but if you wanna try and learn them sooner first learn fs reverts then just do half a fs revert (so your board is traveling sideways) and lean backwards and kinda push the board out keep most pressure on your heels so the wheels in front don't dig in hard wheels are pretty much compulsory and a smooth surface is good, if you can fall on it and instead of getting a graze you get like burn then its good.
