I like R Lee Ermey, and think his words are right. He blames 'the administration'. But who is that? The 'administration' is: Pres. O. and his cabinet, Congress, and the Supreme Court as well. We could go a step further and say that the (unofficial) administration includes the Federal Reserve (working hard to keep us in debt and drive us deeper in debt), Wall Street, Chicago Board, and the other 'markets' around the world (global economy). We might also include the Super-size Corporations.

What a sad dissappointment. The great R. Lee Ermey has turned into a confused old codger who forgot that it was President Obama, NOT Bush, who brought bin Laden to justice and avenged the 3000 innocent Americans butchered on 9-11. Bush disregarded the warnings before 9-11, and he squandered our military afterwards on TWO bullsh*t wars for NOTHING. Obama got the job done, and R. Lee Ermey needs to take his medicine.

Later 22 Seal Team 6 were killed when their copter was shot down!

@psovegeta In Ermey's defense, he took an oath to defend the constitution from all enemies foreign and domestic. Even though his oath include obeying the orders of those appointed over him, his loyalty is to our country, not the temporary leader of it. And since he is no longer in active duty, he can say what he wants because he's no longer under the UCMJ. As for the president disrespecting the constitution, Bush went into Iraq and Obama went into Libya both without congressional approval.

The reality is that as much as I disapproved of the expansion of government under President Bush (43), he is no longer President, while President Obama is currently in office and could well have chosen to carry out his promise of change; but instead, accelerated the pace of mistakes.

Ermey enlisted in the United States Marine Corps in 1961. Ermey was a drill instructor at the Marine Corps Recruit Depot in San Diego, California, and Parris Island, South Carolina from 1965 to 1967. In 1968, Ermey arrived in Vietnam where he served for 14 months with the Marine Wing Support Group 17. He then served two tours of duty in Okinawa, Japan, during which he rose to the rank of Staff Sergeant (E-6) and was medically discharged in 1972 for several injuries incurred during his tours.
