  • Don't forget Evelyn King, Melba Moore and the great Chaka Khan !!

  • RagenFroce, do you have Accept Me (I'm Not a Girl Anymore). It was on this album. If anyone out there have this track please post.

  • when she says *right in between not too big or not too small* I was like no she did not just say that

  • wait goggle...you forgot to mention Cheryl Lynn, Teena Marie, Patrice Rushen and some of the other great ladies of the 80s..

  • Angela Bofil, like Jenny Burton, Sharon Redd,

Phylis Hyman,Evelyn King my favourites from the 1980s, great dance music.

  • So sad to hear she had a stroke hope she makes speedy recovery ,had this on one of my street sounds albums.

  • When did she have a stroke?

  • i think she passed

  • angela didnt pass away

  • Great old school Jam...Thanks for posting this!

  • I hope that she will get well soon because I missed her very much and her music also.

  • She was an HOTTIE!

  • I have had this song stuck in my head for days...love it!

  • I remember this song when I was twelve! I had a crush on this boy and I said he was Too Tough! I thought he was all that and a bag of chips!lol I always thought she was such a beautiful woman with a beautiful voice.

  • This was an excellent tribute, well put togther... Isn't she lovely, My childhood crush & favorite female artist. Get well soon Songtress, "Angel of the Night"

  • The tribute for Angela was amazing! Santana,Narada, Chester Thompson cloesd the show with under the moon and over the sky.She is hanging in there and yeah she's too tough!

  • This song is the jam!

  • Great Song.

    Produced by Narada Michael Walden.

    I have the 12",too

  • Please buy tickets to a show in San Francisco on December 8, 2007 IN THE SPIRIT OF GIVING: to benefit Angela Bofill. Produced by Narada Michael Walden, and featuring Carlos Santana, Bonnie Raitt and many others. Grace Cathedral in San Francisco. All proceeds to go to Angela Bofill.

  • is she black?

  • she porte rican.most people call her creole.this was my beyonce back in the day.

  • Not that it really matters a great deal but just for future references on Bofil and not to let a false rumor get started. Her father was Cuban and her mother was Puerto Rican. Creole would be someone of French and Spanish blood born in Louisiana as the name originated from.

  • OHH when Ms. Bofill went straight R&B. I love all her jams. Does anyone remember her Rap song Can't Slow Down?

  • amen, that is my favorite angela bofill song to date, I love it so much. I should upload it one of these days. It was was produced my Mic Murphy and David Frank (aka The System).

  • I missed this tune so much. I didn't realise it was added back on after months of it's absents. Thanks.

  • What the funk!?

  • Does anyone have "Accept me" or "Song for a rainy day" from this same release to share? I NEED to hear these songs.

  • The R&B music of the 70's and 80's is far superior to the stuff you hear these days. There used to be a time when hip-hop artists let R&B do it's thing and took some inspiration from those tracks. Now it's the other way around. Hip-hop is eclectic. R&B isn't supposed to be.

  • This was the jam. Classic '83!!!!! I remember hearing this when I was 9 visiting family in Michigan.

  • I love this ,Angie can really sang

  • I've been searching for this song for over 20 years. Thanks for posting an obscure piece of my past!!

  • damn.thats too long.

sometimes to find u got to get ur fingers dirty.hard to get the original on cd.wax just sounds better to me....man i m old school.
