  • now be honest, how many screws were left over when you put your laptop back together?

  • 2:47 you better cut you nails off and then bake your graphic card

  • @99tare hey don't cheek me xD , do your own vid and I'll come and critisise ;)

  • So I put pepper or just marinate the video card? (sorry Bad joke jejeje)

  • 1:28... that`s the only reason for mens to use the oven

  • words are your friends.

  • i get a weird tintel in my backhead when i see or hear people working on something. without music or a word being spoken. just the sound of work in progress.... you know what feeling i mean?

  • @DevasionX kk, sry I wasn't in the mood to play with the ***** music finder of youtube which always deletes my music for being under copyright....

  • @MaEtUgR no i wanted to say... i like your video cuz it doesnt have annoying music ..... i enjoy the "sound of work in progress"

  • @DevasionX It's called Lazy Bastards Syndrome.

  • @ivorhandful hmm....

  • well one thing....... capacitor pops up when heated at 105 c and boiled at 200 c

  • @lapulapu12345 i also thought but it didn't until now :D

  • @MaEtUgR :P

  • @MaEtUgR japanese capacitor lol

  • dose it really work?

  • me gusta

  • remains a really good fix :) did it on about 5 8800gtx cards and every time it works, like a lot of you state indeed it only works when the fault is because of faulty soldering balls, thing is, now-a-day's because of the RhoS norm i believe it was, manufactorers are only allowed to use solder without lead, all fun and good that we help the environment but for G's sake, invent some better lead-less solder to save us having to disgrunt our wives/mothers from abusing the oven

  • how the fuuuck... 0.o id rather not bake my card and or preform open heart surgery on my laptop. nice job though..

  • @dustinisyodaddy It's really not as complex as it seems, the hardest part is ensuring you put all the parts back together correctly. I've done this with other laptop motherboards, though generally this is only a temporary solution.

  • LOL !! i have same shit ..it looks delishis

  • Like a fucking boss!

  • mmmmmm baked video card

  • You must be kidding me ? Does it really work ? :D

  • @Skirmis21 This process works whenever you have an issue with the actual soldered connections breaking apart (and that's the only case where baking works). Baking the board melts the solder just enough to "smooth" it back out basically.

  • I worry about the plastic bits like the connectors. At what temp do they melt and deform?

  • Cool, and if it don't work you can leave it for Santa with a glass of milk. LOL,,,,

  • Too bad i smashed the fucker.

  • to all those who trying to fix this without opening your computer try this method keep ur computer on and put it inside a backpack and close the backpack and leave the computer inside while its on for around 30 to 40 mins then take the computer out unplug it and take the battery out really fast and with TWO fingers pressed and hold "Enter" for about 30 seconds then put battery on and turn computer on and quickly press on F7 as many times as u can, it should turn on. this has worked TWICE for me

  • @sergkillz to all those who trying to fix this, get a job.

  • @KnifeH i do have a job actually, i fix computers dumb fuck and when i didn't know how to fix this problem i started searching on youtube how to fix it, so i suggest YOU get a job

  • @sergkillz So that's what you tell people where you work? To put their computers in a sealed backpack?

You're computer knowledge is quite... flawed, good sir :).

  • 200 degrees what? C or F ? I saw another post that said C. Big difference.

  • @val058 C ! I'm european ;)

  • How many times have you done this??

  • @THUMBxUPxWHORE once, didn't have the time to do it a second time ;)

  • @ogbrandonscottog the size of it is torx t-8

  • mmm... gpu...

  • @ogbrandonscottog Torx with a hole in the middle, I can't remember the size. If you really need to know the size reask here and I'll find it out next weekend.

  • ur kitchen is nice

  • @LittleChin21 thx man, I love it :)

  • You should test it before you re-assemble laptop back so if something worng you dont have to tear it apart again. Did you add some thermal paste?

  • @alexfromportland How right you are! I was like it works or it doesn't.... and it did. Yes I used new termal paste otherwise it wouldn't last long. But unfortunately the notebook broke again last week... I used it a lot.

  • 03:06 ...now its broke again :D

  • @MrNevakonaza you clown! ^^ But one week ago it broke again (same graphic bug) :(

    now I have a new Notebook ...

  • Dell XPS M1710. Black screen no video. Baked on 200 degrees for 7 minutes, Let it cool down for around 20 minutes. Works great now.

  • @Jimmyfresshhtube good to hear! I use the 1710 for my studies now and it didn't break until now :)

  • you shouldnt baked too much(the chip will get fry).

. What you do is get alcohol put it in a pot, and place your graphic card in. Then Baked again. Then cut a small flat piece of aluminum. Go to Home depot get silicon glue. Place a bit on the chip and put the flat pice of aluminum. Then put thermal paste on and then place the heat sink on

  • Just did this fix(typing on my old xps now). My computer wouldn't even boot to the bios screen before. Put it in the oven today and put it back in the laptop, and it is running just fine now.

  • @dmiller9911 good to hear :)

  • you could also microwave it, great lulz will ensue

  • Does this method really work ? )

  • @TheLvproduction Yea, when you have the same problem it really works no joke. But it certainly it doesn't last forever. Someone with the same notebook wrote it worked for him 9 months until he had to repeat ^^ And after that it also worked for some months. When you have this Problem you have nothing to lose, so try it out ;)

  • @MaEtUgR Wow, it's very interesting and the first time I couldn't believe it, but know I believe that it's useful . Thank you buddy :)

  • @TheLvproduction ur welcome ;)

  • hehe, üsä mätthi geit ab wines zäpfli u nimmt dä siech gd usänang ;)

  • cool o,0 --- .

  • Well DONE!

    EXECELLENT VIDEO!

This may not be a permanent solution. But, it works everytime!

  • @VincentFunk Actually if it is the old type lead solder, it will be permanent. Lead free requires a reflow temperature ~240 degrees C.

  • @soundspark Which begs the question of why it started to go bad in the first place, hehe. Yeah, bismuth solders melt pretty easily...

  • Nice
