Can I have a question guys? Those of you who are saying that Google let them down and they're "raping", what's your problem? I don't want to flame and neither is this comment offensive, I just really don't get it. All I see is that Big G bought a company with its patents to use them defensively. HP purchasing Palm really didn't help WebOS. The software is amazing with a lot of unrealized potential.

Hardware is a very important factor that could determine whether a platform would survive. WP7 and WebOS (both good platforms IMO) suffered in sales due to lackluster hardware.

HP should either license the OS or release the source code (if they aren't that greedy)

In my opinion, android kills ios when it comes to multitasking and general specs in a phone, but ios kills android when it comes to app reliability (little to no force closes) and 3rd party support for apps, but where one is weak, the other is strong, and thats bc when android tries to improve on its weakness apple sues them and claims copyright infringement lol

I have to semi-disagree with you about us "android fanboys." Yes, there are people who are just the same as iPhone fanboys, but there are a lot of us who aren't. We say it is the best, or at least better than iOS, because it works for MOST people. I had just talked to a friend whom has had his iPhone for 3 months now. He said that it sucked so hardcore, so me being an "android fanboy," I let him use my phone to convert him. Not only was he amazed by it's functionality, but he loved the look too.
