I believe those K&Ns are all considered "race" cuz they're cotton vs paper. Cotton lets more air but also a lot more dirt so in reality paper are the best filtration and my personal choice especially as a daily ride

hey i have a 07 zx6r but when i lift the tank theres 2 cables on the left front of the tank. One is red with black and another is blue with black. I didnt see them on your video. Do you remove them?
How long do you let the filter dry for, especially if it's not a sunny day. Is there a specific time period?
