thumb. i strum normally. i have to do that very quick and go back on the neck. i can't do that with the elbow. Many use the elbow to start this song.

move tour entire hand down so ur index finger is on red, when i started hard i tried to not hit the oranges then i got used to stretching my pinky, but im tall 5 foot 6 and have long fingers so hitting orange is easy for me

Good! Keep practicing. When you have 90% steady on a certain speed, increased the speed a bit in order to get around 70%. Then come back a the previous speed and you'll get 100% in no time. I did that from slowest speed to fullspeed.

I'm not sure i understand your question but i'll try to answer it from what i understand. First, when you tap a series of notes, you have to strum the first note at the begin of the series of notes and hit the remaining notes on the neck (without strumming). For this intro, i hold down the green one all long. To practice this, try at the slowest speed in practice mode. Some strum with the elbow cause they found it too difficult to replace the strumming hand on the neck.

thx, around 11 hours. 2 hrs on slowest speed, 2 on slower, 3 on slow and 4h on fullspeed. I've done that on during a week playing a maximum of 2 hours by day.

Check the tutorial on the main menu. It's call "Hammer-ons and pull-off". It explain that there are some notes that you can hit without strum.

I know it's green, red, yellow, but I just can't keep up. When I put it in practice mode, I put a rubber band around the green and try to hammer on and pull off the other notes but it doesn't work.

You have to be very quick when you push notes and you also need the release each notes very quickly. Don't use a rubber band. If you do, don't say it. It's unsportman like conduct.

I'm not tapping it. I just hold it. It's like if i was holding the upper side of the string the whole time and tapping lower notes.

The hardest thing for me is the first few notes. I am only able to start strumming with my strumming hand and have to move it to the neck very fast to hit the first blue note with it. Keep practicing.

you have a different technique than me, why dont you try what i do?

i strum with my elbow, so my right and left hand are both locked and ready to perform ;) give it a try if you havent already :) lemme know how it goes..

I tried with the elbow but when you miss, it's too difficult to comeback. After praticing a lot with my method, i'm able to comeback pretty easily if i miss. I've seeing plenty methods here on Youtube. Just pick the one you are the more confortable with.
