The reason they re recorded them was because the record company wanted to re sell the album with some extra songs. Tomas didnt want fans payin for the same album, so the redid. What you said may have been part of it but thta was the main reason.

so yes. Catch 22 did the original version of this song. Then Tomas left and redid this whole album with different musicians who became Streetlight Manifesto. This version is the Streetlight/BOTAR version. you can tell by the added verse, and the bass interlude is slightly different the was streetlight plays it.

Right off the bat, you have some serious time issues. It doesn't take a musician to notice this, anyway, but as a drummer myself, it was hard to listen to. There was almost no groove at times that it seemed like you guys were going to train wreck and have to stop and start over.

I would suggest some serious sectional rehearsals with just your drummer, guitarist, and bass player. They work wonders.
