  • WOW VERY VERY nice mate! Did you sell the gold? I am eager to know just how many OZ and what you got for it, not sure what it wast in 09 but now it's in or around 1700 bucks an Oz! If thats the case you'd have made a right 10-12 thousand bucks. That nugget was a real little beauty man, you could teach the hoffmans a thing or 2 of what real gold looks like. Maby they need to hire you for their alaska mining operation lmao. Love to hear more about this nugget though, Ceers mate. IC

  • what the hell. that guy is making 10,000 dollars and just brushing it off as a

  • Does Australia really have that big of gold nuggets that are just considered a "nice one?"

  • @wesomest I've been detecting here in Victoria in Australia, this area which is known as the golden triangle, and in 3 months of detecting I have only found 1.1oz in about 11 small pieces. I've probably put 300 hours in for about $1800. And my detector cost me $3400. So its not that common. But it does happen. You hear of multi-oz finds nearly every month. I just do it for a hobby though. Any finds are a bonus.

  • where were u

  • luckyyy

  • at the moment gold is $1650 aud an ounce

  • @silverchill1 now its at $1760 an ounce

  • fuck..

  • Australia... damn. I want to invest the money for a one month trip down there to hunt for gold and silver nuggets, diamonds, opals, and other stones of that nature. I'm sure I'd get a good return.

  • @SILVERpeasant1996 its not lying all over the place.. and most is already taken.. there are only specific regions to find certain minerals and its a BIG country.. but if you;re good at it, im sure you would find a few nice treasures although you may spend alot for nothing.. just saying..

  • Lmao. Thank u very much and goodbye. I would have said the same if I found gold that big

  • you just found $7500...

  • you just found $7500 on the ground...

  • They've always said that Australia was paved with gold, they were right! Not surprising really since the world's largest gold nugget was found in Aus. Anyhow, my congratulations on your find, and since it was two years ago, I'd be interested to know what you bought with the proceeds? Hope you find lots more. Good hunting :D

  • Hello,

Where are you exactly? I see in most of your videos there is quarts on top of the soil or at most less than a meter down. I would like to know thanks!!

  • how mch does a gold nugget cost per ounce?

  • @xXxGildartxXx

9-16-11, NY gold closed at 1812.50 per troy ounce. That is for .999 pure refined gold. This nugget will be a bit less than pure, but it should still be worth about $9.000, assuming it is 5 ounces.

  • @st8pl8guy holy shit this man must be like hella rich

  • love this video

  • Beautiful, for sure. nice video :)

  • Wow I'd be ecstatic if I had just found 10 grand laying on the ground.

  • Make my mouth water. That is a huge chunk of gold!

  • My advice would be to give 5% to the church and God will be pleased with you. Because I think God had a hand in your find. Truly amazing and congratulations.

  • @FeignofCordor 10% is what we should give, of any money we inherit :)

  • Awesome can I be your friend now?

  • THATS CRAZY I WANNA DO THAT

  • Lucky

  • Very nice. More satisfying than landing a trophy fish.

The guy must have been doing a fist-pump about every five minutes for the rest of the day. Felt like a kid again on the Easter egg hunt. Soaring on cloud nine. Bouncing around the desert like the road runner with bionic spring in his step.

  • @2000toddowen almost.. finding gold is always a trip..

  • i would lick the thing

  • Simple question is, why is this area so full of gold nuggets for? Such things interest me I like geology and such stuff always fascinated me as to why some areas have gold and others dont. is this some geologically active area? old ancient volcanoes? Just curious on that issue.

  • @Rink03 the occurence of gold is totally related to the underlying geology.. Nuggets are only found in very specific geological environments.. where i live just happens to be one of them.. Regrdless geology is the key..

  • @zaqqaz22 So what manner of geology would be a prime target for gold prospecting? Volcanic regions that have been active in the past but are now dormant? Where Rock quartz is at as I was told by a person that likes to prospect for gold? Where I live its a practical geological wonder, old places that had once been active, in fact the area I live in is in all respects a caldera, rife with hot springs around about my area. Would that be a good area to prospect in?

  • @zaqqaz22 Thats a fuckin rippa!!

  • @Rink03 It's fascinating looking this area over on GE It looks like a huge field of lava flows. The open mines in the area are blue greenish in colour, indicating, I would think rich copper deposits. It looks like a metals hunter paradise.

  • @Rink03 what i find funny..... is that we find gold so useful when the people before the english...

the local aboriginies.....didnt even consider the mineral useful......

  • @azmanabdula its actually a trash metal

its not strong it melts really ez

the only real use is its conductivity

other then that its pritty and that it

  • @hardwirecars gold isnt trash ....

so useful in electronics....well i guess you said that....but yeah...

ive never heard anyone ever say that its trash metal....

come to think of it....is it even a rare earth metal anymore?

    peace

    -Peely

  • @azmanabdula i was saying its a trash metal in the context of what you were saying

it has very few uses so its more for vanity then utility

  • @hardwirecars Trash metal? This "trash metal" is worth over $8000. You're out of your mind. Silver is actually the best in conductivity, but copper is always used instead because it's a lot cheaper. Hey, if it's trash to you, send it to me if you ever find a chunk of pritty trash metal.

  • @FortitudeOfHeaven hold up your missunderstanding what i mean

as a building material (how the conversation got started) its very much a trash metal

  • so how does something like that happen? was there a disturbance in that area before that brought some gold to the surface?

  • @Swampwookieee exactly the opposite my friend, the surface eroded away, mainly by wind, and left the gold nugget exposed..

  • @zaqqaz22

Kinda also looks like a flash flood area. The dirt being removed, and the way the

rocks were deposited, like post collapse Dominoes, is a dead giveaway.

  • looks like the outback notice the flynets! Also blimey can i get some bread broke like that?

  • That looks just like the one I dropped and didn't realize it when me get home mate! Can I stop by your house so me can get it back and some? I just need your address.

  • @Beefer413 No 666 Mulga Snake Drive. Kookynie.. Shall organise the welcoming committee.. (hope you can run fast)..

  • "Good start to the day..."

Dude... you are the master of understatement.

  • Wow! Eureka!

  • @schlimschlam1 Nobody reply to this troll, I am to warn you guys of this troller.

  • what is with the bee mask are the bugs that bad

  • I hate u

  • Money from Heaven...I would say.

  • wtf. Money just prairie dogs in the outback?

  • holy cow batman!!!! lol. I am like omg!!!!

  • Were any of you listening to what he said? He said he had been prospecting for 4 days and found NOTHING. This guy is a pro and this is a once or twice in a lifetime find. He has probably gone out twenty or thirty times and found -0-. If we could see all the money hes invested in gasoline, and time, and divide all the hours by this piece of gold, it would seem worth quite a bit less. I'm not saying don't be stoked for the guy. But this isn't an everyday thing.

    Anyway GREAT FIND!

  • Did I hear "good start for the day?" How often does this happen for you?

  • I dropped that while I was on vacation there, you can just send it back to me COD' I'll give you a $20.00 dollar reward,

    Thanks so much.

  • what the fk? I can go for a stroll and find gold at my feet?

Is australia like the modern day...el frickin dorado?

  • WOOOW!

  • How much would you charge for a tuition?LOL

    Well done, mate!

  • theres a simple explanation... a miner dropped it 200 years ago

  • @strikerwyatt HA-HA-HA

  • can i come with you

  • its like a pick 6 but pick 6,000 dollars :P
