  • Okay, everybody thats bitching and saying that they could play real drums. Good for you! I, as a person that had to sell his drums to support his family and have to face every day as a father, husband, day to day worker, and a person that lives paycheck to paycheck, I say unless you are going to get your daddy to buy me a new set of drums, this is the coolest thing Ive ever seen.

  • I have 4 rock band 2 drum kits. Is it possible to connect two of them together and use one for cymbals for the game?

  • @TooYoungToGamble Each drum head is just a piezo sensor that runs 2 wires (ie one circuit) into the "brain". Each hit on the sensor pushes a tiny current through that circuit. The cymbals work the same way, so *theoretically* you could yank the leads coming out of 3 drum heads and solder each to a 1/8" mono jack to create 3 "cymbals" that can be plugged into a normal kit through the standard connectors. I'm only not sure if the current would be the right strength to work properly.

  • worlds worst fail at 0:44

  • ur drums fell, just wanted to let u know

  • i got a descent real drum set for the same price as an xbox 360 slim and rock band 2, i think personally, u wasted ur money. besides, fuck neighbors and parents, they cant yell over the sound of a real drum set

  • It's so stupid

  • DONT WHATCH THIS, get real drumz ;)

  • which program pc

  • 0:45... Fail. That's why you DON'T use two plastic drum kits as a real one. The extension for the pro-mode cymbals would work way better.

  • @dudecicero Oh, you mean like this 3-year-old video links to at the beginning?

  • @rocketcarmike - Electronic drum sets existed 3 years ago! Yeah, they might be a bit expensive, but if anyone is serious about learning a proper instrument, why not starting with a real one?

  • @dudecicero one question do you think they had the pro cymbals back then?

  • Quaal fooi kkkkk.... A paradaa caiu aai mano

  • This shit makes me proud of owning a real drumset

  • @0intelligence0 - Of course. Imagine if I had to play the bass with that smallish plastic "guitar". Real instruments all the way!

  • That's cool too bad the sound of the sticks hitting the drums was there. I mean the actual physical sound not the electronic drums. It kinda kills the sound you're making. Not your fault.

  • nice...you played the same thing...... -.-

  • aahahaahahhahahahaahhaahah the end xD

  • was he holding the drum the wrong way XD XD XD

  • LOL @ THE END

  • Rock band is way better, guitar hero may be alot more realistic but the experience is sooooo much better on the rock band drums, it's amazing

  • got an idea, get a real job and stop fucking around with computer games

  • in the time it took him to fix that i could go out and buy umm idkk how about a real drumset :)

  • which one is better? ROCK BAND SET or GUITAR HERO SET? i want to buy.. pls tell me.. thank you

  • @qAyyUm rock band has small frets at bottom of guitar for easy solo's

  • @qAyyUm gh set. gives it more of a real experience. but if u want a real drum set but cant get one, u can use the rb set with a computer to do wat this guy did....cuz thats wat i did

  • dude this is actually pretty kickass. V-drums cost like 2 g's. a real kit is great, and of course anyone who plays would love it. however, its loud as fuck, u cant play one in an apartment, and being experienced in playing in bands, its awesome to have one of these for practicing while ur drums are at the practice space because you cant fuckin keepem where u live. right????

  • jajajajajaa! pendejoooo... jajaja suckeer!

  • Where's the cowbell?

  • Pay some freakin coinage and get a real drum kit dude.

  • 0:44

    u rocked too hard

  • you're just not good at this at all.

  • dude you use the same pattern change it up oh and u suck

  • hauhauhauahuahuahuahauhah XD

  • End are cool :D Nice.. ;pp

  • Lol fail at end.

  • Yes definitly epic

  • epic fail in the end

  • Very Nice!

  • What mode are you using?

  • 0:43

    LOL!!!

  • lol I like the ted nugent ending # 12.... good job bud

  • Any way to prevent the delay?

  • laaaaaaaaaaaag

  • where do u find it so you can use two mine just shows one

  • I like how near the end the thing falls over...

  • lol im sorry but are you holding the drumsticks by the head? cause in the video it looks like they get narrow atowards your hands, but pretty cool use of rock band drums.

  • I had the tips wrapped in tape to muffle them, combined with the motion blur.

  • @rocketcarmike that explains why they are so thick then, nice playing

  • @MaeEvelynn Evelynn is my real name

  • @MaeEvelynn pause at 0:30 and look at the left hand its the right way

  • mssing red on top drums lol

  • thats an epic ting

  • lol it fell over but he still played

  • I also would very much like to know how to get rid of the delay. It makes it unplayable.

  • LOL at the end..... FAIL! good video though.

  • LOL! @ 0:44

  • How did you fix the delay when you hit the pad?

  • LOL awesome, destruction!

  • xddd

  • LMAO AT 0:44!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • wow! that was awesome! =D

  • thats an epic ending! haha...nice one

  • Lmao at the end.

  • i like how he's holding the stick backwards.

  • That's what a real drummer does, still goes on even when something screws up. Way to go!

  • 0:44 rocked so fucking hard the drumset had to give up

  • i want 1!!!! xD

  • Did you fix the delay?

  • 0:44 xD but nice video

  • the first drum solo is awesome!

  • does guitar hero world tour drums also make these cool sounds or not???

  • duhh!

  • well does it??

  • yeah any music set will if you run it through a recording/sequencer program with a soft synth like kore which is free!

  • why would you post a fail video

  • haha cool but 0:44 xD fail

  • You know whats cool? Owning a real drum set lol

  • You know what else is cool? Having the money to buy one AND the environment, free of yelling parents and neighbors that complain about your drumming.

Now if I have a soundproofed room and the money... I'd get one.

  • @FullM3taru My dad sais fuck the neighbors play whenever you want =D

  • @jonxbox wow you're dad is soooo cool!!! :D

  • @FullM3taru you need a pro grade noise cancellation system. It costs a lot but would be worth it if you win the lotto you can set the cancellation outside where you are playing so any sound that leaks will be canceled on the outside no need for soundproof room.

  • totally xD i guess that makes me cool!! lol

  • Fail at the end.

  • well who holds a drum stick with that -_-

    but nice vid

  • 0:44 xD

  • your house looks pertysick

  • i swear your holding the sticks wrong

  • he is

  • GHAHAHAHAGHA\

    \LOL

  • no such thing you hold em comfortably someways, yes, are more effective and are for different drumming styles but theres no rule on how to hold a drumstick:)

  • ye but there designed to be held the other way thats like going on a bike but cycling backwards

  • hahahahah very cool

  • nice ending xD

  • man ... i luv the last part...haha...but man , i have a problem...my 2nd drum is laggy...i hit...an then sound...is not like urs...ur sound is sync...my pc is a beast...so

  • lol it fell down at the end

  • i love the end hahahaha

  • ha it fell at the end

  • sweet. does that software work for GH4??

  • Doesn't GH4 have a "studio" mode where you can freestyle play? I only played this setup once to try it out. Now I just play freestyle with Rock Band 2's freestyle mode, using the new wireless set with 3 madcatz cymbals.

  • yah there is, i was just wondering.

  • thats sweet but why did you just buy a real set.

  • Compare pricing... You can pick up 2 rockbands sets for approx 80-100 bux.

A real electric set is about 400-800ish

A real kit is anywhere 400-600 to 1000s+

    You do the math.

  • yeah..but your cant play gigs with a rock band set. lol

  • 1. if he can play drums as well as this then chances are he has a set, and 2. who cares? this is awesome! xD

  • lol yeah it is..

  • hes got a point... just think of it as a cheap drum machine... he just needs to tape the top one down lol

  • kwl but the sounds would get on your nervs in the middle of a gig lol

  • thats awesome and crazy XD

  • Nice. Keep it up. =D

  • lol it fell

  • what program

  • man your other drum pad on the fair left broke

  • sweet

  • i hate you all

  • hahaaha the guy lost his fucking mind fom drums and vidio games you guys want that too

  • tu 6 piu cojone de richard benson e pino scotto messi insieme

  • Concordo.

  • LMFAO AT THE END.

  • kool and you kept it moving!

  • it fell and he still keeps going XD

  • i rofled at :44 hah ah

  • 0:44 FAIL

  • hahaha

  • lol

  • lol 10 - 13 sounds exactly like man in the box

  • yeah dude, sounded like Man in the Box

  • Is :10-:13 We Care a Lot by Faith No More?

  • The pattern is probably similar, but I was just playing what felt groovy while playing along to Burger/Ink - The Jealous Guy From Memphis.

  • how do u do tht?

  • easy

  • nice , thanks for the inquire :)

  • lol loved when it fell good vid

  • tight, i just got that program and had no idea you could use two at once, tight

  • haha that's pretty awesome !

  • what the hell kind of drumsticks are those?

  • i think hes holding them by the heads

  • No, I just have the heads wrapped in a thick wad of masking tape to muffle the tapping.

  • o ok.

hey my drums dont have very good sensitivity do u know how to fix that during drum machine

  • lol

  • it looks pathetic lol

  • It could have been the 3+ grammatical errors in the first post.

  • lol the ending

  • it doesnt work on macs right?

  • No But if you get gamepad companion you can use them with garageband.

  • I'd love to get a second set so I can play drum machine with 2 kicks and some toms instead of getting rid of them for hi-hat and crashes. amazing.

  • READ THE DESCRIPTION!

  • Because it was a dumb question, that's why.

  • all you have to do is hook up two drumsets to a drum machine?

  • Nice

  • Lmao at when the top drumkit fell

  • lmfao

  • Holy crap that is awesome!

  • wtf

  • how are you not getting any lag?

  • Update probably. A update was released not a while ago. But yea the lagging made it hard to keep a beat

  • i swear hes holding the drumsticks upside down and holding them at the very very very end

  • They're right-way around, I've wrapped a bunch of tape on the ends to muffle the "TAP TAP TAP". But yeah, I'm holding them too close to the base here like a putz. No wonder I have trouble keeping up to Run To The Hills' 32nd notes.

  • Haha I've had one around now and then, but never played remotely seriously or well. But at least fooling around with this is a gateway to people wanting to get a real kit and learn.

  • i whant that program :(

  • you are what you eat, you know

  • sux that it fell tho, btw how much did it cost to get both sets?

  • sweet

  • hey dude how can i do this?

  • haha i fell down, nice beat tho

  • hows the two bass pedals sound?

  • lol

  • Drumming is drumming, beats playing on your knees. This is about $2000 cheaper than a real electronic kit, though you definitely get what you pay for here.

  • And more it seems like...you could record via Audacity if you'd like. And if you have 2 sets, you could easily have double bass. He might be adding support for an open/closed hi-hat pedal feature. Looks like a good setup, and for 160 bucks[for me] I think it would be worth it, cheaper than 600 dollars.

  • Open/closed hihat already worked to an extent, but it didn't feel good at all because a real hihat has a really analog reaction, and this you have to make the switch BEFORE you hit the pad, and it doesn't make a sound when tapping the pedal or when you choke off a note. The drums themselves are pretty annoying to listen to as well because they're not velocity sensitive.

It's really only useful for practicing rhythm, and even then the slight lag spoils freestyle play.

  • hey i have a question since you said the delay was so long that they let you keep it, mine has been with ups for about a month so any chance the same think could happen to me?

  • ha...so you could get the double set to work, but couldn't find a way to keep the top set from moving...

  • ROFL AT 00:43

    Just kidding, nice beats. :P
