I just played the whole season. I have to say that episode 1 & 2 especialy 2 are the strongest of the whole season. Didn't care to much for episaode 3 and it slowly picks up in episode 4 but just doesn't get the same feel as the first two episodes down...

It is point and click, but optimized for usage with the PS3-Controller (NO "mouse emulation") which works quite good.

It also HAS trophies.

You can get free demos of all episodes in the PSN. If you like it and buy the full version you don't have to start from the beginning but continue from the end of the demo

@theawesome288 did you play tales of monkey island? Its like that in the sense that its not a point and click. It is in that style but you can actually navigate freely with the analogue stick. Its a nice little puzzle/adventure game and has some great and funny moments. I also got it for free but in hindsight I would have paid for it.... but depends on your taste in games really.

Damn Trophies. Why aren't you interested in whether you like this game or not and not if the trophies are easy to catch?

Play it if you like adventure games. If not - don't play it.

About 70% of the trophies you get just by playing, the others are harder to get. The max is 1 Gold per Episode

I was new to both Sam and Max and Tales of Monkey Island, and I got Season 2 and 3 and Tales of monkey island eps 1-5 on a sale on steam. I played the first 10 minutes of Tales of Monkey Island and uninstalled mostly because it was a ton of call backs to a bunch of games I've never played before, without much hooks left for new players. I did enjoy Sam and Max though, so much that it know ranks among my favorite gaming series. Plus I prefer the way season 3 plays compared to season 2, fluid.

Lol, this game is simply great, ( in my opinion, ( don't have it myself ), I had the Sam And Max - Hit The Road, ( I laughed my arse off, rotflmfao ), there was another game that made me laugh, Day Of The Tentacle, ( the humor was, funny as hell, so if those kinda games are still made, ( or new games like that ), then I can't wait for what comes next, but lately there hasn't been many adventure games, ( there have been some, but not enough ), RPG and adventure are my favorites.

I'm curious, how well will my system run this game. Perhaps you have an idea. It's a HP HPE(Phenom II X4 925 2.8Ghz/8GB DDR3/1TB HDD/ +more) but came with a junk Psu and Gpu. So I just took the nearly new power supply [Thermaltake 850w Modular] and [XFX Radeon HD 4890 950core/1025mem]. The Gpu runs cool, had to install an Antec 120mm fan and run it at 2,000rpm to do that. I don't usually buy OEM, but this model had exactly what I wanted, & I already had a Psu and Gpu to throw in from the old PC.

After being addicted to MMOs, I gave up on them cold turkey, as they were running my life, and I started making reviews. The name Zeitgeist just stuck with me ;-)

@Ojogadornoob Well don't worry I got the DEMO version as well but it should also download the key as well. When you have the key the demo versions become the full game. You just play it like normal it will see that you have the key and turn the demo into a full game.

The thing is, i understand and speak english, but here most of the jokes are based on some kind of slang language and thus E is not my native language i wont understand them all and wont get the point of all the sidekicks and jokes. So i have to wait for the german one. But im happy to see the series continuing, i still remember Reality 2.0 the last "text-adventure" part. hillarious :D

@Ulti2k You bring up a very interesting point. I work for a developer, I don't know, it just got me thinking. I don't work storyboards or anything of the sort, but I'm very curious how difficult it is to take humor, thought out and written in English, and translated to German without losing its meaning... It must be very difficult, some things in English are near impossible to clearly translate, in this context. There would need to be an explanation attached, but it's a game. Wow, must be hard.

Personally I'm gonna have to disagree with you, don't like the "adventures of monkey Island" at all. I prefer Sam and Max ten to one against Adventures of Monkey Island. Plus I like Sam and Max better as characters, but I will give you this the characters in Sam and Max don't have as much personality as aposed to the characters in Adventures of Monkey Island.
