As far as clutch- it's not a miata pple, you don't have to use the clutch to get the back end out. sigh- silly youtubers w/ zero knowledge about cars. @bradenn horsepower doesn't come from RPM you amateur. in fact this is a naturally aspirated 2.0 inline 4, which produces 200bhp. ah, do your research!

@Larry3200 When did I say that HP comes from RPM? NO! LEARN TO READ. I said this thing makes ALL it's horsepower at the upper end of the RPM. WOW N/A 2.0L big fuckin' deal, thats only 40hp more than a ford focus. And if you gotta be in the upper end of the RPM band to make any hp or torque, the mains can't last too long, even a simple google search for "s2000 main bearings" brings up THOUSANDS of forum threads stating JUST THAT. DO YOUR RESEARCH.

S2k's don't make all their horsepower at 8750rpm, once the vtec camshaft starts at around 6000rpm the s2k's horsepower increases from 130bhp at the wheels to 240bhp. If you're talking about the NEW 2012 focus with 160bhp, the s2k was released in 1999, TWELVE years ago and I think you'll find it has 80bhp more we aren't talking about main bearings here, don't change the subject. this is a discussion on power. so once again, do your research.

@ScorpiosBite1 its not a classic yet. It's still just a car to most ppl. In about 15yrs the s2k will qualify as a classic in true perspective. The AP1 and AP2 S2ks are both beautiful cars and i would love to own one. This guy is just having some fun in HIS car that he probably paid for.

Truth be told when i purchase my SK2 i'll probably do something stupid and reckless like that, but not all the time.
