The barbell curl using the towels, is a terrible way to exercise the forearms. Here is why: First, there is absolutely NO WRIST FLEXION occuring here. The 3 primary muscle on the inside of your forearm are NOT being engaged! By gripping the towels, you ARE engaging your finger flexors (flexordigitorumsuperficialis and flexordigitorum profundis), but only isometrically. That's not a bad thing, but if you want those muscles to grow, your fingers must flex through a full range of motion.

if u want and exercise that isolates forearms. look up wrist rollers. a lot of u have prolly seen them, u hold the wrist roller and u roll up the long rope that holds a weight around it. otherwise u can just squeeze ur forearms when doing bicep curls (dont need towel)
you know what's ironic? i bought your prime program Optimun Anabolics, and you completely left out the forearms. On tuesdays, arm day, only 4 exercises for the upper arm, 2 for biceps and 2 for triceps. no forearm. i feel that i get a better workout for my forearms during back day.
videos helped alot , thats a great idea. would be great if you intro was shorter ( i dont want to waste more time then i have to ) and better sound would be great to. try adding in sound after.

It's called unstable muscle working. That involves more muscle fibers so you have a better workout for the same amount of time.

this is actually both forearms and biceps, because it forces u to grip really tightly, which works the forearm.
then again, just about every exercise requires forearm strength.
