I just had a thought. Perhaps the real reason Coyote the Trickster is so attached to Peter Maza is because he is his descendant? Think about it: we know from Titania and Fox that the fay have fallen for/had kids with mortals. Perhaps somwhere along the line, Coyote fell for a mortal woman and had children with her, and their descendants are the Mazas? It makes snese.
They mixed up for cultures. Navajo and hopi. Because Navajo culture coyote is our trickster...but the end they showed mounament valley...wow! Eliza is Navajo
Has anyone thought that robo Coyote's face is just a hologram or just picture on a screen? So it would be feasible for Xanatos to rebuild him from just copied files thus not having to rebuild his head after being demolished time after time???
They are in Arizona, couldnt they catch a Greyhound bus or Amtrak train to New York, LoL. Actually they entered the American continent a few times during their sail from Avalon. They went to the Pacific Northwest and to Guatemala.
I agree with U very much. I watch the New batman Adventures alot and the Coyote looks like Dick Greyson and acts like him. Its funny to notice such similaritys,
@SwornOaths He wasn't in this show. But if Odin, the king of the Norse Gods, was one of Oberon's Children, it stands to reason that Loki was one of Oberon's Children, too.
@liamevans1987 u tellin me a mythical flyin monster who just travelled through time and space fought even dda king of mytchical creatures awakened king effin arthur and has probably killed more men then u or i will ever kno can be shocked by a sandstorm wit a face
@faisal277 Since Goliath's merry little band has left Avalon, they've encountered (in no particular order) 1000-year old ghosts using sorcery from a magic rock, lock ness monsters, a banshee, a sentient colony of nanobots, a golem, were-panthers, multiple colonies of gargoyles, humans with magic powers, odin, a spider god, the New Olympians, an alien, Anubis the God of Death, and a crow god. (Am I missing anything?)
At this point, I'd assume that he'd just think "Oh, another god. Ok."
Okay we've seen Norse Gods, Greek Gods, Roman Gods, and now Native American Gods. WIll we ever get to see Jesus fighting Satan with a band of Gargoyles?
They sure love their tricksters in this show. I was a little surprised that Loki didn't show up in the Norse episode, but I guess Odin counts as trickstery. Norse gods be trolls, man.
@SpriteAriel Well, how many tricksters does one show need? This one at least had a direct connection to the main characters. Besides, if you have Odin and Loki you pretty much have to do Thor and they didn't want to, he's already been done to much.
Oh for christ's sake, don't you think NEW YORK would have needed them by now...?! Stupid Avalon... although thought, couldn't they just fly back home from there??
Check the matching expressions at the start of this part Maza intelligence at it's best. Then coyote trickster has the gayest comment yet (when you left you took a part of me with you I just had to get you back)
I gotta say, Cyote the spirit seems similar to the Smoke Monster/Man in Black from Lost. Anyone who's seen it and knows what the Smoke Monster can do, as well as watched the episode where Ben is "judged" by it in its lair (there's an egyptian carving on the wall of the smoke monster with Anubis, a god resembling a Cyote) will know what I mean.
Is it just me or is this the ONLY Disney show 'catered' to so many minorities at the same time. I mean come on, although I never seen Native American/African American hook ups before but I'm sure it happens nonetheless. Hmm I never would've guessed that Elisa's pop was Native American. I was borderline on well tanned white / native american / latin american dude. Geez what a show. A great show!
@n0sfreak And the best part is, they have it designed so the diversity/ethnicity/minorities messages almost seem like an unintentional side effect! Most shows today, they shove the "everyone is equal, ignore ethnicity differences" stuff in your face so much you just wanna hurl! But they didn't make as big a deal about it in Gargoyles, letting the kids come to the conclusion that you shouldn't judge people based on ethnicity.
This is exactly why I missed Xanatos. The world tour is okay and all but it has way too less Xanatos for my liking. So as far as I'm concerned this is the best episode since "Kingdom".
