Shes 100 years old because Hanyuu brings her back to life in another world each time she dies (watch higurashi kai and it will make alot more sense.) It is strictly forbidden, but hanyuu and Rika wer friends that very day rika was born. Rika mentions when she looked up after being born the first face she ever saw was hanyuus , so after that day hanyuu protects her.

Frederica Bernkastel...I don't know much about her. She appears to be the recollection of all the incarnations of Rika. She can travel throughout the Higurashi kakeras, and seems to enjoy messing with them.
