@kereng5 You don't get it. By omitting the last two verses of Surah 9 the 3 instances of letter "Qaf" will go as well. And there are 798 "Qafs", which is 19 x 42. So with 795 Qafs the code will break. GOTCHA!

You should visit the apostatesofislam website. It has a nice text analyzer that allows you to search and place numeric meaning on pretty much any document. This is kind of like the Bible Code folks. They try to put "hidden" numeric meaning on their text as if that shows credibility. It doesn't show credibility... just credulity.

Maybe the Americans were afraid of a Nuclear response from N. Korea if they tried to take out Kim Jong Ill. As for Iran, maybe the Americans were trying to give the Europeans an opportunity to convince Iran to give up its nuclear program before making a war decision. You're looking at life on the planet and thinking how great everything has been designed to fit in the environment, but you have to look at the fact that these creatures evolved, and they are the best fit for the environment they live in. ok check this out: the chapter "al hadid" ( iron ) is the chapter number 57 in quran, it contains 29 verses, if you check the iron phisics properties u'll find out that on of teh four isotopes of iron is 57 Fe, also if you take 57*29 = 1653 the same if you take 1+2+3+...+57 = 1653
and finally the energie that u need to take away an electron from the 57 fe atom is 2957 J/mol

The Quran also has a lot of verses which has been verified as scientifically correct. In fact there are many scientists who have converted to Islam because of the verses in regards to science.
Allah makes a very bold comment in the Quran Chapter 2 verse 2, "This is the Scripture whereof there is no doubt..."

You should visit the apostatesofislam website. It has a nice text analyzer that allows you to search and place numeric meaning on pretty much any document. This is kind of like the Bible Code folks. Maybe the Americans were afraid of a Nuclear response from N. Korea if they tried to take out Kim Jong Ill. As for Iran, maybe the Americans were trying to give the Europeans an opportunity to convince Iran to give up its nuclear program before making a war decision. Anyway, it is not necessary to speculate about N. Korea or Iran to disprove your claim the Americans invaded Iraq for oil. It doesn't make economic or logistical sense.

The verdict is still out on what the Americans will do to Iran. It is possible the Americans will take out the Iranian nuclear facilities in the waning days of Bush's administration. But, I think it is much more likely if John McCain becomes president.

The Americans perceived a threat (real or imaginary) from Saddam that the did not from China or Cuba. A war for oil can be dismissed easily: 1) There is no way they could ever recover the costs of the war even if they stole all the Iraqi oil that is pumped from now until the next 50 years. 2) The logistics of hidden oil theft is outright impossible.

I think the American administration really believed Saddam was trying acquire WMD. He had biological and chemical weapons in the past. He used them in the Anfal campaign against the Kurds and against the Iranians in their war. He had a nuclear program before the Israelis bombed it. It turned out to be false, but I think the Americans believed it at the time. Saddam was pretty good at faking it. In the afterglow 9/11, I don't think the Americans wanted to take a chance.

You are flat out wrong. Iraq is moving right along. The security here is getting pretty good. The parliament is being moved from the Convention Center to outside the Green Zone in September. The Iraqi Army just wrapped up a successful security operations in Basra & Maysan province all without American/ British soldiers. American soldiers aren't guarding oil infrastructure at all. It is being guarded by the Iraqi Facility Protection Service.

The iraqi government is in the Green zone only. Even if they step outside the Green zone, they will be killed. Also, so called 140 thousand personals in Iraq, most of them are guarding the oil fields and pipe lines.

You haven't provided ANY evidence. According to Muslims, Allah is beyond our universe. Since we cannot detect anything outside of our universe, no one can ever provide any evidence that ANYTHING outside of our universe actually exists. Given that simple premise, NO ONE CAN PROVE THEIR GOD EXISTS. A book written by a man is not proof. The fact that Earth exists is not evidence of any god. It is mere conjecture and BLIND FAITH that you think it to be true.

Ah, the oft-told misconception of the 2nd law of thermodynamics. That would apply if the Earth were a CLOSED SYSTEM. It isn't. We get energy from our Sun. The Earth is NOT a closed system, thus not everything decays, because our energy is replenished with the energy of the Sun.
I don't *believe* in evolution, I accept it as provable science because there are many scientific facts to support it. There are NO scientific facts that support ANY god. Anything assigned to your god is mere conjecture.

You're looking at life on the planet and thinking how great everything has been designed to fit in the environment, but you have to look at the fact that these creatures evolved, and they are the best fit for the environment they live in. The creatures weren't designed for the environment, they are the ones that survive the best in that environment.
There are countless examples of poor design. Why do 3000 kids in the US choke on food? Why have just one tube for both breathing AND eating?

You can probably find numerical patterns in lots of other books, it doesn't mean it's true. Also, you could change the words to something else and still have a readable book that might say completely different things. What makes Islam true in that case?

ok check this out: the chapter "al hadid" ( iron ) is the chapter number 57 in quran, it contains 29 verses, if you check the iron phisics properties u'll find out that on of teh four isotopes of iron is 57 Fe, also if you take 57*29 = 1653 the same if you take 1+2+3+...+57 = 1653
and finally the energie that u need to take away an electron from the 57 fe atom is 2957 J/mol
remember the iron chapter is the number 57 and it got 29 verses

Iron has four isotopes, yes, well done. Why pick 57? It has 54, 56, 57 and 58. It also has nuclide symbols from 45Fe to 72Fe. What you've done is to work out some calculation that makes sense given the array of numbers used in explaining atoms and their properties.
Your holy book has a large range of numbers available for your numerical trickery to fit.
In other words, if this text were in chapter 54 and it had 29 verses, it would still fit, but put it in 59 and it would fail.

Are you aware that the Koran was written in Arabic? You are using the English alphabet to determine that the Arabic word Hadid all adds together to make the miracle number you seek. Even though you spell it differently in three places: hadiid, hadid and hadyd. Well, what about the Polish alphabet? The Indian alphabet? The Chinese alphabet?
