Mikeyspiky200, There can be another reason why your Video's are being rated low, There is an annoying glitch with my Youtube which where EVERY video I watch gets Rated 1 somehow (It automatically does it, So probably my computer is fucking up your Ratings)

although WMG are able to mute you, you can change the pitch of a song using an audio program like audacity. people like bapod use the method and it really works! then WMG won't be able to fuck with you!

Most of it has been due to use of copyrighted music (in particular music from WMG, who used to have an agreement with YouTube that fell apart around December 2008. Since then WMG have become stricter about what videos can contain their music).

Sorry to say this but it does explicitly say underneath the video uploader that no copyrighted material is allowed on Youtube (without the owners permission). Youtube have every right to take down people's videos if they use copyrighted music/videos (without obvious proof of the owners consent or if not being used under fair use) as it is their site and they can be sued a heck of a lot of money if they are caught with copyirghted material and they won't remove it.

they may have the right to, but that still doesnt make it fair. using small clips comes under fair use, and doesnt breach any copyright laws. youtube themselves used to let you but then suddenly went really uptight.

tbh i think youtube just doesnt like reviewers, considering theres millions of songs and music videos youtubes never even considered taking down.

oh and the copyright claiming systems SOO BAD that people have made up blatantly fake companies and been able to report a video.

I think Youtube only take action if the copyright holders complain. Some of the companies may not actually care/don't excist anymore so they can not make any claim for the copyright.

This was the saddest Friday video I've ever seen. I'm still looking forward to some of the older videos being put up on youtube like you said in that other comment. It sucks that some asshole keeps rating your video down, but do you know who he is? and his 27 accounts? Well anyway ill keep watching :D

Youtube first started to suck with the edits like the personal pages which got rid of the Vids being watched thing, then got rif of screen shrink thing which gave it better quality thing, then they started removing vids and then that just kept getting worse and worse until everyone started removing videos for anything. in my opinion, pokemon Sucks NOW but it use to be good. I dont care to much for ratings so I say you shouldnt care if all your videos are 1 star.

I understand your reason for leaving. I, one the other hand, haven't been on YouTube long enough to expirience the crap this site has (I joined New Year's Eve 2008). I loved your old Atari 2600 reviews and how random they were. They were the reviews that made me compare your work to SpoonyOne and AVGN (in a good way). We will miss you!

That's a damn shame. Youtube is getting REALLY picky with these copyright issues. I'm thinking of becoming a reviewer again once I get decent software. Which reminds me. Do you know of any cheap video editing programs that are at least half decent? I will continue to stay subscribed and I look forward to the next Friday Video.
