I think at 1:06 is incorrect and that you are taught a lie in that you state generations of Miwoks Indians. What the Yosemite National Park Service fails to tell the public is that the First Discovery of Hetch Hetchy Valley, Joe and Nate Screech met the Paiute Chief and he said he owned the whole place. Also above Hetch Hetchy is a pine nut grove only transported there by the Paiutes dated approx 700 years ago. Also the Oldest Central valley Indian basket was found there and it was Paiute.

Any person that uses the water from Hetch Hetchy that calls themselves environmentalists and yet opposes the removal of Hetch Hetchy dam has no "environmental" credibility whatsoever. None.

The central valley farmers use 80% of California's water supply. 80% of that water is lost to evaporation by watering crops with sprinklers. If crops were nourished from underground pipes and drip irrigation farming water consumption would drop DRAMATICALLY, California would easily be able to sustain several times its current population.
