truth be told, it is a 6.2...very slow either way. also, i cant get it to throw black smoke, i can get a little bit of dark grey smoke, but these stock 6.2s just dont have what it takes to really put out a nice black soot cloud haha

Has your glass packs clogged up with the diesel soot yet?

have you had any issues with that 6.2? i had all sorts of issues with mine. but then again mines a standard.

not too many. every once in a while the glow plugs wont turn on a cold start, it has also killed twice since i got it but thats about it, also a little oil leak and a very small transmission leak, but nothing serious. i do know the guy who had it before had the injectors replaced so there must have been a problem with them. other then that there isnt any huge issues.

its a typical older chevy. they all leak some type of fluid. i have the same problem with the glow plugs. mine don't kick in so i have to use ether

ya, idk what the deal is. sometimes the glowplugs work like new sometimes they dont turn on unless i crank it first, then they usually come on.
