just finished watching this movie a second ago. THE BEST MOVIE EVER! <3 i was hoping to see a perfect ending but it still is a great movie nonetheless :') i love italian movies!
This lovely song with music by Ennio Morricone and words by Francesco De Melis was (I do believe) one of those specially written for Dulce for her album 'Focus' with Maestro Morricone.
It has no connection with De Sica's 1970 film "I Girasoli" ['Sunflower'] which ~ as has been said ~ was scored by the late Henry Mancini... said by an American psychic to have been, in a previous life, Giuseppe Verdi.
At any rate, Mancini was a tremendous admirer of Morricone, and the feeling was entirely mutual

Le immagini sono tratte dal film di De Sica, e non c'entrano nulla con il brano in questione. Lì la musica è di Henry Mancini!

Actually I hate Sophia Loren. I hate she coz he managed to cover the best italian actress ever, and most beautiful too: Gina Lolobrigida.

Extraordinaria canción de Dulce Pontes, junto con Enio Morriconi. Bella canción.
