  • Probably one of the best and THE most insane movie ever!

  • Comment removed

  • this is a strong movie because anyone can integrate it! powerful!

  • this movie putio mi vida ♥

  • chills everytime

  • kazuki tomokawa a real music genius

  • can someone tell me the name of the song please?

  • @IIMaRVII "Strange feeling" from Satoru LP (2005)

  • @TheMrlegless actually, the name of the song is "wake no wakaran kimochi" from the 2004 "itsuka, tooku wo miteita".

  • help me find the lyrics please

  • @AlphonsePride

its an experimental movie dude! and a fuckin good one its a very poetic movie and besides there is action all the time

  • I would say the movie is more about Nihilism than anything else.

  • @Kittysafe thats a good point to debate or reflect upon. izo, as the character , is definitely in a primitive, essential state of nihilism until the turn at the end. I think the movie does spare some things... not as "golden paradise" as western ideals, sure thing, but it does treat nirvana with respect towards the last scenes. at least, in my reflection.

  • What is this?

  • Very passionate artist. This guy makes the movie.

  • Re: song subtitles. Depends on the edition of the DVD. I've seen two about, one of them has better subtitles in my opinon (deeper somehow). Unfortunately thought its not the edition with the song translations :(

  • Where i can find the lirycs of this song?

  • just watch the dvd, it's also translated there.

  • You Sir, Are An Idiot.

  • definitely, I am a fan of Tomokawas work.

  • VeRY iNTeNSe PaRT.....tHiS MoViE oNe oF a KiND....MaSTeRPieCe

  • What is this video/song about? It's so sad and in the same time cruel.

  • The video is a little out-of-context. It's a scene from Takashi Miike's film "Izo." It's a very unique film that deals pretty heavily in themes of existentialism. It's a good one, but it takes a couple viewings at times. It's worth it though, in my opinion.

  • maybe you will understand with time

  • Seriously what are you trying to say? I don't get it.

  • this is a movie you know. and his songs are an entegral utmost interresting part of this movie. and yes would you say someone is ignorant to sing a song about death and the sad way of things at a macaber time ? just because he does sing in japanese and not in your language ?? whats wrong tmoney.

  • Dude, what the hell is this comment about?

  • this is one of the msot powerful moments of the film. When miike shows our ignorance and lies have not only destoryed us, but our children as well. So emotional, music helps so much

  • Like supaa noice:D

  • hi everybody, i need the lyrics of kazuki tomokawa's songs featured in the film "Izo" by takeshi miike,

is there anyone who can help me??? i'm giving a conference about music in films in my school so i really need help

Are you japanese or do you speak that language?? if so, any help would be appreciated!!!

    thanks so much!

  • its probably too late but in some regiouns dvd you can switch on subtitles ;)

  • I like the movie and Tomokawa's music.

  • I feel really sorry for the peaople that don't understand the meaning of this movie. reading is probably even more painful for them. what a waste....

  • This movie was a pinnacle of directing genius and functional insanity.

  • @VisitorY

the meeting of two great philosophers in their ways. miike and tomokawa. when i saw this first iwas just thinking: wtf? real graetness!

  • @VisitorY damm right dude

  • Tomokawa is fantastic

  • he's the best!

  • I already importen one cd. I need more :D it was the perfect chocie for this ingenious movie.

  • i'd like it much more if you edited it better, so you're not catching random scenes at the beginning and the end.

  • its a movie.

  • yes, it is.... O_o

  • there is a strong theme of existentialism in this film. Really enjoyed it.

  • This film is great, and the music too. The songs from Kazuki Tomokawa are instrumental versions of the album "Itsuka Tooku o Miteita". No album for film's versions of the songs.

  • Neil Young ? Sounds more like an asian Tom Waits.

    brilliant, anyway.

  • INTENSE

  • reminds me of a japanese neil young, but more intense and grotesque.

  • Does anyone happen to know what Tomokawa album this song comes from?

  • hey post up this movie i love this movie.

  • There is no one on Earth that has more conviction than this man. Totally brilliant. I'm glad I saw this film, as it turned me on to one of my favorite musicians. Thanks Miike-san!

  • one of the greatest songs in my opinion!
