  • Beautiful :)

  • Really good, how did you go with the singing contest? I loved listening to it.

  • This is my song for solo contest. I'm excited. Great job!

  • @MrGagalover14

    Take Care

  • @davidholness Thank you so much!

  • great one david ***** stars. Is that an electric guitar i see in the back ground? id love for you to enlighten us with your electric skills.

  • That reminds me slightly of the tune on the Railway Children that Bernard Cribbins sings, probably written around the same time. As a folky I loved this traditional ditty. Good stuff.

  • Pretty Polly Perkins of Paddington Green by Len Prossor - that's what it reminded me of.

  • Very well sung. It reminds me of Burl Ives in style, the singer whose recordings first introduced me to folk music.

  • Hello

    David...

Now this is a song that one could sing to their child or grandchild.

Your wholesome-voiced performance is filled with sterling character and poignancy. I take great relish in singing along with you. Music and community shared...what could be more encouraging and hopeful than this?

    Peace,

    Stewball
