@Hoiz28 Well, I disagree with auto tuning when it is applied to a voice or an actual instrument, because then it isn't how the music was actually performed, but that can't be applied across all genres. It's impossible to make electronic music without computers or auto tuning and it's not something anyone can just do. So does that mean you wouldn't consider electronic artists like Daft Punk to be music?

You seem to be pretty unaccepting of music like Lil Wayne, he's not great, but if people want to like him, that's their choice. Also, electronic music like Daft Punk is completely based on computers and autotuning and they are arguably the best electronic artist to have ever existed. Not saying Lil Wayne is good or Phish is bad, just that people have different tastes, and you can't change that.
I don't give two shits what a band I listen to likes, the ony thing that matters is if I like the band. I said "this sounds like shit" because, to me, it does. Does Tool, Nirvana, Primus, Alice in Chains, A Perfect Circle, Lizzard, Rage Against the Machine, Smashing Pumpkins, Sublime, or the Violent Femmes use autotune?
Also, you just basically chose for me what music I listen to. I just happened to think this sounds like shit, so I automatically like what you don't, apparently. I don't like lil wayne either. Or autotuned voices. Or rap (Unless its RATM or Beastie Boys).

@spensal2 A couple? The entire chord structure is identical. But if that were all, then it wouldn't be a big deal. The tempo is identical, for another thing. Also, "In the farmhouse things will be alright," compared to "Everything's gonna be alright?" With the same stress on the same syllables and everything? It's just too much to ignore. I love Phish, but this is redundant garbage.
I guess you're also saying that No Woman No Cry is a ripoff of Let it Be by the Beatles. Not every song has a different chord Progression. Just look at Earth Angel, D'yer Mak'er, and Why can't this be Love; those 3 songs all use each others' chord progression, yest all 3 songs are completely different. Try opening your mind to more music and you'll find that PLENTY of songs also use the chords that this one uses.

this song has a couple of the same cords as no woman no cry, but if you think that it's plagurized from BM you have more problems than a pregnant nun

@spensal2 A couple? The entire chord structure is identical. But if that were all, then it wouldn't be a big deal. The tempo is identical, for another thing. Also, "In the farmhouse things will be alright," compared to "Everything's gonna be alright?" With the same stress on the same syllables and everything? It's just too much to ignore. I love Phish, but this is redundant garbage.

I guess you're also saying that No Woman No Cry is a ripoff of Let it Be by the Beatles. Not every song has a different chord Progression. Just look at Earth Angel, D'yer Mak'er, and Why can't this be Love; those 3 songs all use each others' chord progression, yest all 3 songs are completely different. Try opening your mind to more music and you'll find that PLENTY of songs also use the chords that this one uses.
