When I argue with my friend over Christianity/Atheism, I always bring up that there's no proof of Christianity. His reply is always "There's no proof of Atheism either." when Atheism is just the absence of religion. No proof needed, the proof is that there's no proof of any other religion.

@timestandingstill I think you CAN find truth in atheism, or through it, rather. With supernatural explanations out of the picture, we can search for natural answers for questions we have about the universe. Often I find when a theist doesn't understand something, they just say God is the explanation. In this regard, theists are lazy and unproductive to humanity's progression. With supernatural explanations out of the picture, we can search for natural answers for questions we have about the universe. Often I find when a theist doesn't understand something, they just say God is the explanation. In this regard, theists are lazy and unproductive to humanity's progression. In Matthew 10:36, Jesus is quoting Micah 7:6, where it talks about sons dishonouring their fathers, daughters rising up against their mothers, etc. The point He is trying to make is that He did not come to earth to restore the relationships between men themselves, but to restore the relationship between man and God.
