Recently had a frontal offset crash in my 2011 civic and it did very well. Crash was around 30mph, airbag deployed and I walked away shaken but generally fine. Thanks for keeping safety rating high Honda.

this car is actually really safe. I have one of these and there are airbags everywhere. I'm the youngest sibling so I always ride in the backseat, and there's airbags on top and to the side in there, I always feel really safe.

@akjadestar I am not so sure that this car is so safe . I have 2010 ex-l , some snow fall from my house roof on the hood , damage it like it was made of paper, plastic panel under wipers is in the pieces too. I dont feel very safe in this car :) and now i have more than 1000$ in damage. On my 2005 4x4 i could walk on it and nothing would happen to it .If only 4x4 would not take so much gas i would newer trade it in.

no everyday commuter car is built with falling snow and ice in mind. try parking your 4x4 and see what happens. i feel safe in my civic.

@Celsior400 I know is not but it should be. I got the bill for parts its 950$ :). I am sure nothing would happen to my 4x4 in that situation because its made of much stronger body parts than fuel efficient cars, but its always something for something. Honda is not bad but its not great . I guess for this money its a good car , but if i had more money i would never look at it again :)
