Simple change in languaging would have helped the response rate I think. Chotto karaoke shimaSHOO, tanosii desu kara! Shimasen implies the negative reply, whereas Shimashoo encourages the positive reply, plus saying its fun gets the listener thinking of the fact its fun, not all the reasons they cant do it.

Still, good persistence guys. If you read fastseduction (dot) com you might be making some nanpa vids next time lol.
