  • awesome

  • Makes me wanna do coke ha

  • I wish I had been there--the fans look like real fans--receptive and energetic! N O sounds amazing here, always be one of my favorite bands of all time.

  • One of the best live performances I've ever heard - wish I'd been there!!

Looking forward for the next live concert - i'll be there!!

  • Best single of all times; hands down.

  • @merrycrisis Absolutely, I agree...

  • impresionante version!!!!!!!!!!

  • True Faith is not suitable for live rendition.

  • Cannot do that, that's DVD ;)

  • @DirdyBirdyRus Suweet song

  • I am think , this video je EXTRA , but please try to puting 720 or 1080, please !!!

  • "Now that we've grown up together

They're all taking drugs with me"

(from concert in Chicago - Poplar Creek - back in 1987)

  • why does morris always look like he doesnt want to be there. i geuss he learned to live with being a rockstar. is that why he married gillian? lol.

  • there was some remix of this song with extended drum & bass intro and outro, that played on the radio all time few yrs back. But i can't find it.. i was so addicted, waking up to it :)

  • So good. Getting better by the years

  • Wow the bassist looks like snape. I wonder how it could sound with victor wooten as a guest

  • Wow the bassist looks like snape

  • Huh, he didn't sing they do drugs with me in this one.

  • Why in live performances do they keep saying "I see my light in the shade of the morning sun" and not "I'd see delight in the shade of the morning sun"???

  • one of the most beautiful songs ever... simply fantastic!!! energy & emotions...

  • dont like the electronic intro of the song. the old one is better.

  • base player not very good .... and backup singers voice SUX. (the same person, i think). like saturday night's skit about blue oyster cult's song needed more cowbell .... this song needs more BASS ..... HELLUVA LOT MORE! ...... organist, drummer and lead singer sound fantastic by the way!

  • @frizzlefrap It might help if you could spell BASS and hooky is an all time legend of bass. Don't comment in future

  • @frizzlefrap ho wwron gca non ebe?

  • I think True Faith was their best song.

  • @audgeyp sehr wahr! ;-)

  • they did mime during Electronic - Get the message - look it up.

    Where Gillian?

  • they did mime during Electronic - Get the message - look it up.

  • Some of the best music in the 80's came from the UK like this one from New Order. Too bad the US record companies blocked UK music in the 90's in America. I can't stop listening to this song; its put me in a trance.

  • this is simply

    beautiful

  • now I can die happy:)

  • @mylubima now I can go to sleep happy :)

  • Peter Hook e Bernard Sumner mostrando que que sabe faz ao vivo!

  • they STILL sound phenominal...wow

  • I love this band. they don't make bands like this anymore. WOW....;)

  • who would think a simple song would mean so much live life to the full !

  • long live this band, Big Peter did put work for this band. This band will always live

  • 2006

  • What a great band.... Loved Joy Division.... and Love New Order... You guys are the fuc...g best; ever!

  • just watched the whole thing in hd amazing performance, Bernard Sumner sips red wine in between songs and has a "kiss my rebel ass" confederate flag sticker on his guitar.

  • Joy division and (then) New order....80's! 80's!

  • pigeon shit lol

  • Wow it's so cool how he's still got his young voice(:

  • Did they re-record this song? I'm diggin this version. If anyone wants to here my version hop over to my page. It's re-done but I stuck to the original version.

  • sounds very good .... but ... like the original version better .... instruments are too muffled ..... like those louder, clearer notes .... and where is the girl that played the keyboards? .... she was better!

  • Truly one of the last great bands from the 80's era of synth-pop.. These guys are totally awesome. Thx for the post.

  • true faith is one of the best pop tunes ever written.......

  • まだやってたのか!懐かしい!

  • great song... it was then and still is today!

  • IS THIS AT THE BARROWLANDS?

  • New Order is like wine, the older, the better.

  • Agree.

  • @fandamme lol

  • @fandamme just like bicycle parts brands like Mafac, Magura, Huret, Ava, etc! :-) Things like that! :)

  • @fandamme Too bad they are no longer together.

  • @fandamme As like as Pet Shop Boys )

  • @fandamme way to hit the nail on the head, new order is the best!!!!!!

  • My God .... they are still great live! Amazing.

  • bitchen bass but he doesnt need to sing

  • @tastyscabs sorry man i can't agree. the lyrics are what get me most about this song. The bass is sick but without the lyrics i think the song isn't nearly as great.

  • @Wmartinolich Can't agree with you, i am not good at english and i really dont understand what song is about, i hear the words but i dont understand what are they about, so definetly bass is what makes this song so good :) . American Pshyco +++

  • Nice bass on this one. Sounds more agressive than the original! Great stuff.

  • what does he say in the beginning?

"just noticed that this shirt looks like a ? on my shoulder?"

it's been annoying me for a while now that I can't figure out the word. great band btw!

  • I think he says "piece of birdshit"...

  • this shirt looks like a bird shit on my shoulder.

  • @jordgubbsyoghurt Barney says: "Just noticed that this shirt, it looks like a bird's shit on me shoulder"

  • @jordgubbsyoghurt pigeon shit

  • Why only the good bands always splits?

  • @sas147741

    don't worry !!

    dreams never end.......

  • Thanks! Cheers!

  • wonderful!!

  • New Order killed this version!!! they F'n Rock!!!

  • Wow. They went very Pink Floyd not that I'm unhappy about that. I was unhappy when I couldn't find Cheech and Chong let's make a dope deal. Bob.

  • get gigging again you bunch of fucknuts I might be dead soon ffs.

    NO Forever wherever

  • no shit

  • Quite good version!

  • New Order put the majority of bands who claim to be independant to shame. New Order did what THEY wanted and that includes refusing to mime on TOTP or dressing like everyone else or sucking up to the music bosses.

They were and still are unique i could ramble on for hours about why i love these guys so much but i won't. FAC 51 FOR EVER!!!!

  • @ColumRogers Indeed mate.

  • @ColumRogers You forgot to mention New Order played tapes while gigging m8? im so independant that I think your blethering Pish? or are you havering?

  • wow!very nice performance~!new order rlz

  • Best New Order song ever!!! Brings back childhead memories. Although I never figured out why those two robots were slapping each other throughout the whole video since I was little and actually I still don't but heck it was still very cool. The was a great experience and thank them for this. It has become a part of me.

  • That roadie at the beginning just looks so bored, I don't know why he made me laugh so much. 'Yeah great song, whatever, when's dinner...?'

  • This is why they were the greatest and still are the best band to ever walk this planet... factofuckingmundo my mortal friends ;o)

  • Well said.

  • Why do we get old don't take life too seriously..

  • Is Barney's guitar not plugged in?!

  • Looks like it. It might be my imagination but it also looks like Hooky's trying to make up for that. The bassline seems different.

  • It's Plugged you can see it at 4:00

  • @SemiSlavable If it is, something's broken. :p

  • GOODDDDDDDD SONGGGGGGGGGG

  • you bet your fucking asscheeks it is

  • these guys are not young...but their music sure is!

    wow...so techno too

    love it

  • Thats because they were way ahead of their time. We have yet still to catch up to their music.

  • Niabandtv is right. I speak as someone who was a New Order fan when this came out in 86.

Concerts are chaotic, and it probably was tough for SM to hear or some-such.

  • 1987 ;-) I remember where I was the first time I heard it...

  • You might be right.

  • what the hell are you talking about? who do you think you are? btw, your comment is not appreciated at all. take a hide.

  • Who the hell do you think you are? niabandtv was just commenting on a video, no need at all to get so aggressive. By the way, I think he's right. Jeez..

  • oh...so you are the hero who will save the world? u 2, shut the hell up. get a life or someone who's as gay as you.

  • sweet!

  • Satanic? How so? o-o

  • i love when bateman and his crew walk into the club to this song

  • New Order Rlz

  • Great rendition indeed.

  • Barney looks great. They all look great, but i thought that Hooky is no longer with the band. I read that he and Andy Rourke formed a band. Two bass legends from the 80's Rourky and Hooky.

  • have they broken up??

  • yes they have split up, sadly

  • Awesome rendition of the song

  • Truely greaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat band

  • By far the greatest band ever, Long libe Bernard
