Mendelssohn wrote this delightful piece when he was 16 years of age! Your performance, Enzo, was wonderful in every way. You got inside the piece and captured the refined joyousness of the Andante and the sprightliness of the Rondo Capriccioso. The double octaves at the end added a Lisztian touch!
Very nice, however, in the beginning, it seems as if your sliding your fingers upward on the keys, O-o. I have to perfect this piece in a week. >.>...
well im not 12 im 14.. but i can post some videos but no time if ur really curious about my piano playing... but i still need to finish a hard part of chopin ballade 1
enzo when you play the right hand chords in the beginning.. why do you slide your hand up and down that is poor technique.. its suposed to a cappricioso.. wtf
OMG! I DO hear the difference! What an IMPROVEMENT! From genius to SUPER genius! lol lol That sounded BETTER than CD's! I can't believe what I'm hearing. So young, and you've only been playing for only 3 years. You must play in all the competitions and win all the golds, and get your career rolling! You should be rich right about now. You are the most amazing player I have EVER laid eyes, or should I say, EARS on! lol lol
A teacher who allows you to make all those non sense movements when you play the piano is not a good teacher. You are plenty of time to look for some serious teacher.
You are doing enough good job with your fingers for your age, but that it´s not all.
Wow, you must be a very lonely person for such a harmless comment to evoke such anger in you. I'm sorry you interpreted my words as threatening and that you are so quick to label people as ignorant assholes. I feel so sorry for you that you form opinions about people based on one sentence.
First off, I never said I was an expert.
And if you do want an explanation of how the movements help: certain movements can improve the tone of the music, help to keep the body relaxed,
and making circular motions with your wrists keeps lactic acid from accumulating in your joints and in turn making your hands stiff and unable to play the piano at all. You have to move your body with the music, otherwise you're not playing music, all you're playing is notes. Music moves, so the body must follow the music.
This guy knows what he is talking about. This so called "piano prodigy" is not very good at the piano. It's very distracting to see him bounce all over the bench while playing... I don't know why he likes to hump the bench so much...
Well in all honesty he's still very young and has only been playing for 3 years now...
Maybe when you can play all this music at his level you can talk. Make a video of it and post it.
Until then you have no right to say anything. Enzo has talent, he may not be the best, but he's still much better than you and is probably a lot younger than you...
Oh, by the way. I do play piano, so I have the right to say these things.
To you Alexander.... Shame on you. He might not be perfect but he is 12. He's been playing for 3 years. He is musical, he has beginnings of great technique. This is a live recording. you want perfection, buy a CD that has beeen edited to death. And here you are talking about 12 year old, talking TO 12 year old about "humping"? That sucks big time. you are a SPAM in my book. Shame on you.....
I don't find this song very interesting to be honest. you are still a good player but i think you should have played fantaisie impromptu by chopin! Great job at 2:45, just amazing!
The piano is played with the mind. He was born with this gift. Some people can practice for 100 years and still not be as good as him. He was born with the musical talent in him.
you're perfect!it must be so difficult to play on this dark stage with only the light on the piano, wasn't you stressed?waou! if i could play like that... bravo!!!!
Enzo....I just love to sit and listen to you play....Your parents must be so proud...I can see your passion in the way you play...I play and am an adult...just wish I had practiced more as a child...Looking forward to more videos and hope to see you on the big stage soon...
This is one of my favorite piano works by Mendelssohn. Have you considered playing a piano concerto? You certainly have what it takes. A++++ VERY nice job!! :-)
This is so much better than your "1st try" from December - the speed of your progress is almost unbelievable! Very, very good. Not just fast, but also very musical and subtle playing. You can be very proud!
absolutely brilliant....I did sense a bit of stiffness through nerves in your playing occassionally which would be understandible, but brilliant performance. Would have been nice to see you smile when you took your bow tho. You looked like a gangsta! hehe. 5 stars *****
Wow!! What an improvement from your previous Rondo Capriccioso posted last December/07; congratulations !!!! I can only wish I could play as well as you do - sigh!!

And you are a music MORON with your "Needs more tone quality and more work on the 3rd page at the beginning..."
Someone who has a basic understanding of the piano talks in a more technical way.. HAHAHa "on the 3rd page at the beginning" ??!!??!!
Why don't you just go and SUCK something instead of flaming this kid! you can't even read and describe the beginning of 3rd page !! MORON !!

Those "nonsense movements" you were talking about are what allow him to play so well.

Do you Know Beecognate you are not a completely ignorant but an asshole too?.
Is unbelievable how stupid you can be:
AND.........if you make that afirmation: Explain in which way those movements help?.
I am waiting for your masterclass.
Fuck.

Not pitty with you.
You insist in your fucking ignorance.
I will not discuss with you about a topic which is totally out of your knowledge.
Again: Watch Michelangelli and there is the answer to your speculation.
Your knowledge of anatomy is totally superficial. Do you really thing moving wrists, arms, etc. you donñt get it?.
LOL.

"Music moves, so the body must follow the music. "....?????
Maybe "Dr. Emphiric" ???? .....Come on we are in year 2,008 and not at the Cristofori times.
